Bert’s is local establishment that has been there for years. They sell all of the surfers dreams. It is not one of the «cheap» tourist spots. They sell t-​shirts, shoes, surf boards and surfing gear. You won’t find shells made to play poker here. The staff is great at filling your surfing needs!

There are actually two locations of Bert’s on the island, not to be confused with the one in Atlantic Beach a few miles up Emerald Drive. This one is right over the bridge as you enter the island from the mainland.
This isn’t like a Wings store. They won’t have collectibles and other EI stuff. They basically are a surf shop and everything that entails. They do carry other things such as swim wear, towels, etc. Good selection of sandals as well. I will add that board wax here is the cheapest on the island and this is where I get mine at.
Decent shop with basic stuff for beach life. I have been in ones with better selection but this one does the job for most.
