U-Haul

A friend of mine was moving and she reserved the largest U-​Haul truck in Roseville — for some reason U-​Haul called back and said she had the pick the truck up in Elverta and they closed at 5 pm — kind of out of the way so a friend and I went to pick it up for her since she would not get there in time.
We drove from Sac to Elverta and they did not have the correct size truck and we knew if we took a smaller truck we would be moving for days!
This is not the locations fault but more U-​Hauls fault. The girl at this location was so nice and apologetic — she called U-​Haul, found us a truck in Sacramento and was able to convince the 1 – 800 number to give us the truck at a lower price since they screwed it up.
In the end we picked up a truck from a location that was 5 mins from our house and drove to Roseville and back — much easier.
I will admit we were annoyed when we showed up and no truck — but the girl at the counter went out of her way to help us and was extremely nice. They have great customer service.
