Tony’s is not a fancy place. But they sell lawnmowers so that is ok. Tony’s only sells quality machines. From lawnmowers, to weed wackers, to snowblowers. They have all the best brands and models. If you have a big lawn or small business you can find top line, heavier duty stuff. But if you have smaller jobs stick with the base line model of anything the sell and you will be getting a good product. I have a small lawn but like to keep my equipment for a long time. I bought a Stihl leaf blower and an Echo weed wacker. I could not find the model I wanted anywhere else. But Tony’s had it. My Echo was stolen from my garage last week, so I will be returning to buy a new one! I have not used the repair service so I can not speak to that. However, based on my experience I would not hesitate to try it out if needed. Overall, prices are fair, selection is wonderful, and staff knows their stuff. If you need lawn equipment do yourself a huge favor and skip the big boxes and give Tonys a try.

Steer Clear and Don’t Bother even looking for a parking spot out front… My Experience: I decided to take my broken Craftsman Lawn String Trimmer to this place since its local and I like supporting small local businesses whenever possible. From the moment I walked in I had an ill feeling about the place. From the time I walked in I didn’t see a single employee for about 10 minutes. I thought they must just have a lot to do in back or a lot of repairs. The young man that I spoke with was kind and relatively pleasant to deal with. He informed me that they will be happy to take a look at my trimmer but there is a $ 20.00 deposit that will be refunded if we decide its not worth fixing or that amount will be put towards the cost of repair if I decided on repairing the machine. Unfortunately a week later after wondering what is going on and what could be taking so long. I told that the price of repair would be greater then the value of the trimmer. Naturally I was a bit bummed but a new trimmer isn’t all that costly anyway. After asking specifically that once I come in to retrieve my item; the $ 20.00 deposit will be refunded as originally promised. I was assured that since we are not fixing the machine, that our DEPOSIT will be refunded at the time of pickup(We were told to bring the receipt). Not being a completely clueless person or it not being my first time in a store, this statement was common sense. Upon arrival once again I had an excessively long wait time before anyone even tried to go and fetch our trimmer. This time, I counted there where 5 employees working. All of them were busy trying to sell people lawnmowers… Two of the customers that walked in, were instantly serviced once asking a question about purchasing one of their products. After 15 minutes finally we were brought our broken trimmer. The employee or manager gave out a long«sigh» after I asked if he could tell us which parts needed to be replaced, since my father would like to know. He read off a list of parts and said have a good day. After the poor service, I was anxious to just leave and maybe seek out another«professional» opinion, but when I asked for our $ 20.00 dollar DEPOSIT back, after handing him the original receipt since we decided not to have it fixed. The man (probably the owner or manager) told me that he needed to «pay his employee for checking the machine» and we don’t get our DEPOSIT back. $ 20.00 for us is not much of a major concern. But it was the false promises and blatant LIE that the money was to be refunded once we came to pick up the trimmer and deciding not to have work done to it… I don’t like giving places negative feedback because I know that millions of people use websites like this to give reviews of businesses and poor feedback greatly impacts a companies revenue. Unfortunately for this business the blatant con and outright lie told to us, «multiple times» just for the place to make a few bucks was outrageous and a despicable act of trickery that I decided to let the good folks that like to research a business before trusting them with work, to save themselves the time and cost no matter how miniscule from unfair practices for profit. Upon leaving I noticed a «Now Hiring» sign posted with dust present all over it. It makes sense why honest hardworking people don’t tolerate this type of nonsense and lies.
