GREAT local bar. Shocked there isn’t more reviews on this place. I stopped in with my brother during the holidays. Was shocked to meet the owner there who was gracious enough to buy us a drink. Nice touch.
It is a very nice laid back atmosphere there. If you are a person in the area looking for a drink and some relaxation check this out. Owner told us a heartfelt story of how he came to own the place.

On The Rocks, formerly Eileen’s, is under new management! Greg & Debbie are the new owners and bend over backwards to make you feel welcome. They’ve dropped a pretty penny to re-​style the venue, we may have to change their classification from neighborhood or dive bar to something more classy!!! The mixologists are the same but with a revitalized attitude. Sorry Dennis, but no more smoking in the bar, and I’m a smoker. They’re drawing a new, YOUNGER, but completely civilized crowd, that love to have a great time. No complaints for this update. I’m changing my schedule to come here more often. You’d be wise to check it out. Pricing is right and you can be «down to earth» with no false pretenses. Glad it’s on the Elmwood Park side of the street, no pressure to close it down to end Chicago neighborhood bars. Look for my updates, this place is going places, get regular status before they become tooo popular
