Wow, this place is gross! I’ve been to many yogen früz’s before and this one is clearly below standards! Dirty floors, cob webs next to the kids tables-​along with dead bugs on the window sill next to the kids table… The toppings look old (don’t get the fruit!!!) and the toppings are very limited! Nothing is out!!! I will NEVER be back to this location!

Great owners, great customer service, great yogurt, and a perfect atmosphere.
My favorite yogurt is the original tart flavor with strawberries, pineapple, kiwi, and cheesecake bites.

I didn’t like it. At all. We visited mid week after dinner and the gentleman was polite, but the flavors were not enjoyable. Overall, everything I tasted was kinda weird tasting. Just off. I can’t put my finger on it exactly, but it was not good. And it didn’t feel clean. I was done after the first bite. My girlfriend felt the same way. Just kinda like it wasn’t worth it.
We came. We tasted. We won’t be back.

We met a good friend here for frozen yogurt and some conversation. The place is sparkling clean with a cute pink & blue décor. The server was warm and welcoming and explained all of the available options. The kids got self serve yogurt which they piled with fresh fruit and cookie toppings, and the adults got several different types of yogurts and toppings, including mint chocolate chip, key lime and peach/​strawberry. Everyone agreed that the yogurt was delicious.
There are several board games available and we felt very comfortable hanging out playing checkers with the 6 year olds & catching up on kids & grandkids.
There are many frozen yogurt choices in Elmhurst, but I can only speak to this Yogen Fruz. I can’t think of a single reason to try another spot. They serve a great frozen yogurt, personally prepared for you as you like it (or self serve, as the kids preferred), the staff is warm, courteous and very helpful and there is a small parking lot next to the shop!
What more do you need?

My boyfriend and I were looking for a new frozen yogurt place to satisfy our taste buds considering we grew a little tired of Cocomero with their same flavors.
Now I’ve been to the Yogen Fruz at Yorktown mall before and their flavors are delicious but I was curious to see how another franchise did their menu.
We walked into this location and were greeted automatically with a smile. His name was Ken and he knew what REAL customer service was all about. He catered to our every need and even made my boyfriend’s order twice to make sure it was perfect. Ladies and gentlemen, ignore any negative feedback you’ve heard. As of today, Yogen Fruz is our number one and you can bet that we’ll be back.

This is a family owned business. I watched the father interact with customers and also suggest to his children, who were employees, how to treat a customer.
I ordered a bubble tea and they were out of tea. They immediately made fresh tea for me. The boy asked me to be patient because he was making it with love, and love takes time. hahahaa. :)
That’s when I decided to bring home a pint.
Pricey? Yes.
Quality? Yes
Service? Outstanding.
It was amazing to see a parent run a business while teaching his kids the fine art of customer service and proprietorship.

Rich, creamy frozen yogurt with a healthy twist… added probiotics and fresh fruit toppings! There are 10 self-​serve flavors or the fro-​yo staff can create a yogurt sundae from their menu for you.
Create your own is FUN! And for $ 0.42 an ounce, the price is right! I was able to fit 4 flavors in the bottom of a medium cup and top with a whole bunch of goodies.
Favorite flavors: birthday cake, chocolate, red velvet, orginal tart (surprisingly really sweet), mint chocolate chip and dulce de leche.
Favorite toppings: cheesecake, red velvet, cookie dough and brownie bites! Lots of fresh fruit like raspberries and kiwi. Tons of crumbled candy (snickers), granola, cereal, sprinkles, dark chocolate shavings.
Seriously, it is kind of tough to make a decision about which yogurt and which toppings to get. I might need to visit Yogen Fruz again soon!
FYI…located near the corner of North Ave and York Rd. Free parking lot on the side of the building. Eat in or carry out! I took mine home and it didn’t get melty at all!
The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful!
