Awful customer service. I called the store because rather than take a trip down to Queens Center, I thought it’d be easier to phone them to ask about a current promotion. Boy was I wrong. Not only were they not even aware of the promotion, but the woman who answered my call put me on hold and never came back. Stupid me, waited 20+ minutes before I realized she was not coming back. In the time I was waiting I found my answer on the Verizon site and Google. I’m never giving this store my business(it’s a mall outlet, after all) and will rather make a trip into Manhattan where the retail service is a bit more professional.

If anyone set the bar as to giving their customers the worst experience in customer service, this Queens Center Verizon would take the cake. I’ve went there to pick up my new phones, but it seemed that they get a laugh at seeing their customers get mad, because when I was there, I’ve seen them pick a fight with an old lady and then laugh at her when she was looking away. I’ve personally had to wait about 15 minutes after asking for help from 3 reps that weren’t helping other customers, but I guess having McDonalds in the backroom was more important than taking care of waiting customers. After an infuriating 30 minutes at the store, I’ve left and called Verizon to have my phone delivered.(Much better experience)

Worst store ever! I called them yesterday and asked whether they will be getting the iPhone 6s Plus on launch day and the women gave me an attitude and said yes we are. I asked again are u sure because last year you didn’t receive any 6 plus’s and she replied with an attitude«I said yes!» I didn’t care for her tone but it gets better, I go in this morning and after I get in the store they tell me — «yeah we don’t have many 6s plus’s» one of the guys said they might have one(mind it I was second on line) this Indian guy goes in the back comes back says«no we don’t have any» — now whether he’s trying to save it for someone else is different question. Not fair. Not going back to this store again.

I will never go back to this location. ATTENTIONTOALL: you’re better off calling a Verizon Representative on the phone. I went into this store because my brother’s android broke and I had a spare Verizon IPhone 6plus. I asked the guy(Shiraz, Solutions Manager) and he said we can switch his number onto the phone. After 15 minutes he said we were good to go. It was our mistake that we didn’t check to see he did a proper job. We left and were eating in the FC and his phone was not working. We went back and he said we couldn’t do it because I bought the phone at an Apple Store and the Verizon Store has no authorization to put their service on the phone. It made no sense to me because I paid full price for this iPhone on Verizon Carrier. He took my SIM card and gave me my phone back. He said he couldn’t help us. I asked him why he took my SIM card and he said it wasn’t activated and there was nothing on it. It made no sense because i brought my phone in WITH A SIMCARD. LOng story short I went to apple and they told me whatever he said was absolutely invalid. And they got me on the phone with Verizon and the representative told me that he doesn’t know why someone at a Verizon Store would say that. He needs to go back to training and he’s rude. I suggest you guys to just call a representative on the phone. You’re better off.

Every time I go there, I have bad experience. Staff there do not care to help you. They are too busy using their phones. Today, 2 of them were on their phone, didn’t even notice that I walked in. So I walked up to the cashier. 2 more staff were using their phones. One walked off, the other told me to hold on one second, then he continued to use his phone. I waited for 2 minutes and just gave up. When I said, «you know what, you are busy. never mind.» he looked up for a moment, didn’t say anything, just went back to phone. They are basically being paid to use their phones all day. Ridiculous. I called Verizon customer service to report it, but the customer service representative said the only way is for me to send them a letter and ask them to call me. Yeah right.

I was wondering why the store had such a low rating & then I realized that more than half of the reviews aren’t even for the actual store; rather for Verizon phones or plans themselves. These reviewers clearly don’t know how Unilocal works. Thankfully, I do. I’ve been going to this store located in QCM because I have a representative named Jan who really goes above and beyond in order to try and get me the best service. I really appreciate it and he’s the reason that my mother and I travel the extra 30 mins out of way in order to go to this specific Verizon location. I absolutely recommend him if you’re looking for a hardworking representative. Seriously. I’ve left very satisfied every time I go to this store. The service is excellent and so is Verizon Wireless. I’m not planning on switching anytime soon.(:

My wife called at 11:30 am to confirm stock on hand for the HTC1 plus. She is told yes, it is in stock, and replies she will be there in an hour. Upon arrival at 12:15 pm she is told«sorry we just sold out!» «The promo ends today, so let me order it on line for you». An hour commute in Mothers Day traffic for her gift and we get treated like tourists. See my review of the Bay Terrace Location yesterday to get a better idea of the outrageous behavior of this«too big to fail» corporate nightmare. New phone arrived by Fedex and could not activate– had to return to the store for a SIM card exchange, and found out her old phone was not working because they disconnected it instead of her iPad as requested. Complete nightmare. Stay away.

Unlike, other verizon stores, this store needs to hire more professionals who would know how to assist customers. I was there to buy I phone and the person that was assinged to help me really wasn’t helpful at all. Though I recommend verizon’s services, this store is not one of them.

This review is for the g’zone casio cell phone No matter how stylish, rugged and modern a phone is has to work properly. I can’t count how many times phone calls have simply not come through. A common excuse used by all cell phone companies is «we can not guarantee service in all areas». With that being said my wife has a black berry and all the phone calls come through all the time. This phone has been replaced 2 times and I still have issues with missed calls. This phone is water resistant and resistant to reception. Not worth the money.

With a mall as busy as the Queens Center, I would expect this place to be hopping with annoyed Verizon customers looking to dispute a bill or get a phone replaced. But each time I’ve passed by the place, be it a week night or a weekend, it’s always been fairly quiet and loaded with anxious employees eager to assist. Maybe Verizon is just that good, but I refuse to believe any wireless company is without flaws. Customer service is pretty good here, the front counter guys are quick to answer questions and are courteous while remaining semi-upbeat. Tech support on the other hand seems grumpy at times, but it’s probably because they can’t actually fix or replace any phones. They have always referred me to give the Verizon folks a call for them to send me a phone. That might be a better option anyway than having them diagnose it. The phone selection here, like most Verizon phones is pretty stale. Not much to look at and not a lot to choose from. This is generally the same in every Verizon Wireless store. In the end, customer service and little traffic makes this place a winner. And that’s just the way I like it.
