I come here at least once a month for a full hour, 50 $ facial that includes pore cleaning, masks, scrubs, hot steam(To open up pores) and a mini massage. My mom is a frequent customer and advised me to start getting facials due to my acne /acne scaring. I realized, after visiting, that my skin is not only healing the scars but my acne has been significantly reduced. My skin is brighter, holds moisture better, and looks fresh. I credit their facials with giving me back my confidence and allowing me to wear less makeup to cover up. They only use the best Shiseido products that price $ 100 and up and they also use some french brands. I always go to Lisa for my facials and she has a great schedule and works on weekends. I would recommend going to her if your a 1st timer.

I have been going for facials for 20 years and this is by far the BEST place in all of Queens. The first time I went I remember having the skin test done and was impressed. They went through the various types of facials… I usually get the basic and I get a package(save a bit of $$ this way)…but I also love the collagen facial and the microdermabrasion to get rid of dry skin-if I havent’ been there for a while… I love all the staff. They are wonderful and they communicate with you perfectly regarding your expectations. The street parking can be a bit tricky depending on the time of day but it’s usually not a major problem… I can’t wait to go for my next facial!

Ok, I know i’m a picky customer, having tried different facials from Manhattan to Elmhurst to Flushing. I’ve tried the Shiseido branches in Chinatown and Flushing so that’s what I’m basing my review on. Not all branches are the same. Compared to regular spas(not Shiseido) that charge twice as much in Manhattan, this place is a bargain. But compared to the sister branches, this place really pales in comparison. Let’s start with the pros then the cons: Pros: — Got the blackheads on the very sides of my face, near my ears. — Arm and hand massage very well done. Cons: — Only an hour. Great by general Manhattan standards, but in Flushing I’ve gone for refreshing hour and a half to two plus hours with lots of massage.(and slightly cheaper) — didn’t towel off excess lotion — Worst offense: extractions were mediocre. Okay, they went for the ones on the side of my face, but the nose? C’mon, the nose is right there for everyone to see! I like to attack those suckers so they disappear into oblivion, but I want an expert to do it so I don’t look like Rudolph. But if you don’t tackle the nose,(the problem area for everyone), then there’s something off. — Hygiene: black water, pail, mop. Open garbage can. All next to the toilet and sink in full view of customers coming in to use the facilities to change, do their business, etc. — No place to hang clothes. Yes, the list goes on. I still gave them two stars because compared to overpriced salons in Manhattan, they are decent. But next time I’ll make the trek to Flushing. I know I’ll get all the services and the time well spent.

I can’t believe that this business isn’t even listed on here! Well great I’m the first =) I don’t usually come here to buy my shiseido products but when I do I get a lot of free samples. What I do come here a lot for is to get a facial. They have a couple of choices for different skin types and problems and it’s nice that they have a face analyzer to determine what type of facial you would need. I have oily skin so they recommend the algomask($ 75) which I must say leaves me nice and refreshed right after. The regular facial($ 50) is just as great but a lil pampering doesn’t hurt anybody right? What I really like about this place as compared to another place that I tried out is their products. When I tried another place one time, my face didn’t feel as clean as it did after a facial from this shiseido location. Also they really take the time to clean out your blackheads and whiteheads over here, although it feels like torture, but hey whats beauty without a little pain right? Besides the outcome is fantastic! They also offer a facial package so for instance you pay $ 450 for 10 regular facials which is a $ 500 value, so basically you got 1 free facial. In addition to the fabulousness of this place is the friendly staff and they really treat you right. I don’t think I would ever go to another facial place ever.
