RUINEDMYWEDDINGGOWN! I signed up for Unilocal just to leave feedback about RBB. I am beyond dissatisfied. I gave my expensive once-worn wedding gown and veil to Audra to sell last summer. Once I dropped my dress off, I never heard back from her. No updates, no price adjusting — nothing! I called numerous times over a 6 month period and would not get a call back. I had to finally resort to leaving a message that I wanted my dress back and that I’d leave negative feedback for her with the Better Business Bureau if I didn’t receive a response. Audra then called within 5 minutes. She mailed my dry cleaned dress back to me crushed in a small box without my veil!!! And the bottom of the dress is dirty, the silk is snagged and 2 of my buttons are completely ripped off! It has been a terrible experience and I feel that she has ruined my chance of selling my gown at all!!! Very unsatisfied customer who has had her dress RUINED!

Audra was amazing to work with! She was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. She has a lot of experience, so she knows which dresses work on different body types. She showed me a dress on the hanger and I told her I didn’t like it. She ended up sneaking it into my dressing room and when I tried it on, I fell in love with it! I had no idea it was the dress that I thought was so blah before! All of Audra’s dresses are reasonably priced, and she is not pushy at all. The dress she sold me was much less than what I told her my price range was! Audra made wedding dress shopping completely stress free for me! I highly recommend Rue Bella!

rue belle has changed my opinion of bridal gown shopping. finding a dress was the part i dreaded the most out of the whole wedding planning process: first because i’m not really into shopping in general, and second because i haven’t worn white since the 6th grade. i’d heard all the wedding dress horror stories, so i was bracing myself for the worst. i made the mistake of going to a few of the schaumburg chain stores first and was discouraged by the selection, prices, and attitude of the sales people. i got the brush off from a couple shops when they found out that i didn’t have a bridal party, needed the dress in a month, and wasn’t looking to spend $ 2000+. then i called rue belle. from the initial phone conversation with the owner, audra, i knew i was going to the right place. she was so friendly and accommodating and talked with me at some length about the type of dress i was looking for. to my surprise, she was able to meet with me that afternoon(lots other places get pissy if you don’t call at least a day or two in advance.) when i arrived, the friendly vibe i got over the phone carried over in person. audra was so personable and easy to talk to. she walked around the store with me and picked out arm-fulls of dresses to try on. she was incredibly patient and helpful, giving her honest opinion and suggestions along the way. not once did i feel pressured to buy one dress over the other, and she didn’t try to up-sell or get me to buy other accessories. my «time crunch» situation was not an issue since all her dresses are sold off the rack. she was also able to arrange for a seamstress to make alterations the next business day. as luck would have it, i found my «perfect» dress on the first shot, but audra worked with me for about 2 hours while i tried on other styles just to be sure i was making the right decision. the icing on the cake? the dress was 50% off. styles range from extravagant to simple. the layout of the shop is very cute: hardwood floors, vintage chairs, a large dressing room, a nice big(friendly) mirror, and lot of natural light. their selection is great and the merchandise is not cluttered. i felt relaxed and at home the entire time. this bridal shop is a gem. ladies, if you need a dress, save yourself the headaches of dealing with the chains and go see audra.
