ZERO STARS IF POSSIBLE! I went to have my inspection there and yeah I failed the first inspection, so I changed every single thing that needed to be changed on the list TONY gave me (rear tires, rear rotors and brakes) in another car shop. (Although, the final report of the first inspection he gave says that there is i failed because of suspension problems, tires and brakes). I came back to have my car reinspected and he failed me again saying that there is a cut/​defect on the new rear tires. I told him how can there be a defect when its a new tire? When i asked him TWICE to please show me the cut/​defect on the new rear tire, he refused. He said that the car is on the ground he can’t show me the defect on the tire. THATS BS because and simple forward or backward of the car would rotate the tires he can point out the cut/​defect on the tire. How am i supposed to show the shop where i purchased the tires the defect on the tire if he doesn’t show me. And the final report again was inconsistent saying that the wheel fasteners are the reason why the car failed. Then I went somewhere else the next day to get another inspection and they said there was nothing wrong with the tires! THIS PLACE IS JUST FULL OF BS. DO NOT GO HERE! TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!

I need an alignment and tire rotation on a Friday evening, they had a 1.5hr wait which I was fine with I live walking distance from this place .
They quoted me $ 120.00, since I have a large vehicle I guess it incurred in extra charge .
3hours later I had my truck and a bit broke, but I’m fine with it a final bill of $ 136.00
The mechicanic (TONY) is friendly and showed me before and after what my alignment was. He gave me a copy to have. Which would be useful if their was a problem down the road .
Pro: they know what they are doing and will follow thru .
Cons: a bit pricey to the other guys down the block just that they had a longer wait time.

I would give this place ZERO stars if it was possible.
I recently got all four of my shocks and struts on my Honda Civic ’97 changed. However, the mechanic I usually go to didn’t have the proper equipment to do a wheel alignment after replacing them. So whenever I would let go of the steering wheel, the car pulled to the left. I went to Everybody’s Place because of how close it is to my house. The mechanic in there took the car for a test drive and got to work on it. After an hour of waiting, the guy took it for another test drive and told me that it was fine now. So I’m here thinking that everything is all good and done but then he brings up that the car is within specifications but just within the limits. He said that the camber couldn’t be adjusted anymore unless I got a camber kit.
…My car isn’t even lowered.
The shocks and struts that I bought were KYB struts made to replace the originals. And why would I need a camber kit if my car drove straight before I got my shocks and struts changed? Thinking that this was just a ploy for me to cough up more money (which he said would be another 150 dollars), I told him that I would keep that in mind and went on my way.
Freaking car still pulls to the left… So 93 dollars (Why am I being charged 3 dollars for Hazmat if there isn’t any hazardous material to begin with!!!) and an hour later, NOTHING was accomplished. Besides the DIY every now and then, I’m no expert in cars, but I can see that the people here clearly try to take advantage of their customers.
Oh and a note to you «technicians» at Everybody’s Place, don’t leave your sweaty filthy gloves in any of your customer’s cars. Obviously not coming back here again.

I went in for a simple inspection. The mechanic pointed out a few things wrong with my car. He said he could fix it for just under $ 1000. this seemed a little to excessive for me. I fixed everything wrong with the car for just under $ 50. Now that I know this place was trying to rip me off, I didn’t want to go back but I still needed the inspection.
I returned a week later to get my car Re-​inspected. The mechanic there tried charging me the full $ 37 for a regular inspection. He was only supposed to charge $ 10. I had the receipt in hand. (tried to rip me off again.) He said the other mechanic that runs the place stepped out. as I drove away I saw them both in the Garage. Now I know these guys are NOT honest and are trying to rip people off.
The next day I went in one last final time. I still needed to get my inspection done. It should have been quick and simple, all the repairs were done. I just needed the sticker in my window. I must have pissed them off when I came in, they were in the middle of their lunch. they gave me nasty looks and kinda laughed to themselves.
Well they took extra long trying to find something wrong with the car. They found that Now my brakes don’t work and need to be replaced (but a week ago they were good?) and other minor things they must have missed the week prior. Needless to say they failed my inspection again. I went to another mechanic shop and passed inspection with NO problems.
I originally went here for convenience since its close to home. I had told my story to others and realized they too had problems with this place. Its not just me. I would NEVER recommended this place to anyone. Its a total ripoff. they try and confuse you with mechanic jargon. Sell you on buying things you DON’T need. It’s hard to find a good honest mechanic. these guys clearly are neither.

I want to gave 0 star to this auto care, it is the worst one I have ever seen in my life. I went there to do the inspection, they charge me again when I picked up my car. The worst thing is that they broke my car and did not admit that. If you do not want to get angry and pay more, please absolutely do not go there. I’m sure you will regret if you go there for your car.

Side note: I drive a 2006 Toyota Rav4. Not the standard rims and tires. Also, I don’t know the automobile jargon but I’ll write this best I can.
I had a flat, switched it out for the spare, and when I was able I took my car to Everybody’s Place on 51^st. It was around noon on Monday and they were available to fix my tire with no wait– although they didn’t need to actually repair anything, just remove my tire from the chrome rim and give the rim a good cleaning as it had collected dust and began to corrode, thus leaking air slowly. So I was told. Service was prompt and friendly. They ended up removing, cleaning, and swapping around all four tires for $ 35. The problems I encountered was after I had left. The car felt a little funny on queens before getting home but I’m a little paranoid about car problems so I left it alone for the time being. The next time I drove my car the problem was obvious, as I had encountered it before. The Crrrrrek-​Crrrrrrek, Crrrrrrek! from the front right tire indicated to me loose lug nuts (?). The steering also felt shaky. I stopped the car and got out the… ratchet tool? from the back. I was able to tighten a few of the bolts (are they bolts or nuts? I’m confusing myself.) by hand. They were that loose. From there I drove back to Everybody’s Place, pulled in and told the main mechanic my experience. He seemed surprised. got the air powered bolt gun and tightened them all. He was very polite and apologetic, and it’s obvious that this wasn’t some intentional neglect. But what happened, happened. Fortunately it was only inconvenience to me and nothing more serious.
Edit: the same tire continued to give me problems. Once a week after my trip to Everybodys Place I would need to add air because it had noticeably lost a lot of hair. When I was able to, I took my car to another shop (Champ’s near Meeker Ave and Vanderbilt) and within 20 minutes the mechanic had fixed what I believe was the real issue all along: a leak at the valve on the tire.
I lowered my rating from 3 to 1 star because I don’t believe they fixed the problem.
