This is in regards to the dunkin donut at 506 north Ave in Elmhurst. Poor customer service given by employer a male. Talking over the mike instead of taking our order, got the order wrong then wanting to argue with me after i had to go in store and inform them of the poor service. Will never enter that place again my husband and i. They don’t need a rating star at all it need to be closed down after reading all the bad reviews. The broken english you come here learn the language. Shhh!

The service isn’t spectacular. Nothing special. My main gripe with this place is that it is impossible to stop here quickly. The drive thru is always packed. The location makes it difficult to even just enter! Even if you manage to park your car in the lot, the drive thru is always packed and cars seem to be everywhere. Whoever designed this DD wasn’t thinking. The design is atrocious and impractical. I would gladly drive down the street, a few miles out of my way, to that new location in Lombard based on the simple fact that it’s easier to navigate through.

If I could give a negative score I would, this store is horrendous as well as Dunkin’ Donuts customer service! I lodged a complaint with corporate about this store after a visit through the drive thru where it took me 4 times before the lady could get 2 med dark roast with cream correct! Her young kids behind the counter were more important than taking care of the drive thru. She couldn’t have been more distracted if she tried. I received a one line email in response from the store owner stating«sorry for your poor visit, see you next time»! After several contacts with corporate and wasting my time to speak with someone regarding the lack of quality, come to find out that oh yeah, corporate really doesn’t have someone whom will return your call or contact you regarding your concerns, they will only forward information on. So apparently corporate is teaching their franchises that this in fact is ok and good customer service! Take a clue DD, look up this stores reviews as they are horrible and perhaps you need to readdress your policies.

God is this place horrible. I’m not kidding when I say that they mess up my order EVERYSINGLETIME I go in this place. It’s a joke. I think they’re really playing a joke on me at this point. I go to this Dunkin donuts once a week, on my day off. I get basically the same thing every single time: whole wheat or multigrain bagel, toasted, two cream cheese on the side, and a small or medium coffee just cream. THEYHAVEGOTTENITWRONGEVERYSINGLETIME!!! The first few times, I had to realize they got it wrong after I had already returned home with the food. Well of course I learned my lesson and double-check the order before I leave the store now. Anyway, the order is wrong every time, either there’s only one cream cheese(when I paid for two), the bagel is an «everything» bagel when I asked for a «multigrain» bagel, the coffee is made wrong, etc. It’s never right. But I think the most frustrating thing about this place is how they are not paying attention to you at all. So, of course, after you tell them your order, they repeat it back to you INCORRECTLY! Then you have to waste time and energy correcting them. Like earlier today when i said to the guy«small coffee just cream» and he repeats it back to me «cream and sugar, right?» WHAT??? Is this real life? I literally just told you what I wanted. You forgot already? I used to go to the Dunkin donuts in Mt. Prospect every single day before work(before I cut back on my coffee intake) and they got my order right every single day, quickly and friendly. And my order would be different a lot of the time too. Never an issue. This place tho, total joke. Fire everyone who works there and replenish the staff with qualified individuals.

Consistently the worst DD experience. Employees aren’t trained well, don’t know how to adjust anything on the register, and many don’t speak great English, so it’s even harder to explain what you want from them. Food/coffee is usually just okay, but you’ll have to wait at least twice as long for it than pretty much any other location.

The old guy at the window on weekends(I assume he may be the owner or related to one) 1) acts like he’s doing me a huge favor by taking my money 2) never supplies me with napkins and time and time again I have to go through the drive thru window again to ask for some 3) when I ask for napkins, he gives you a look of disgust as if I shot his dog or something. Why is this so hard? Go to a decently run McDonalds and see what they do. You own a fast food service– if it wasn’t for the chain name, you would’ve closed by now for sure. I will stop giving you my business that you sooo don’t want anyways.

I go here every weekend morning for coffee. The drive-thru line is always very slow, so I usually go inside. When I do use the drive-thru, one lady working there never reaches her hand out to take my money and acts quite rude. I have to reach way out of my car to pay. Overall, it’s an okay location. They usually get my order right with only me having to say it once. I’ve been to better locations, but also have been to worse.

Really poor service. I’m not sure what the training program is or if they’re all from the same family with the same demeanor, but they’re the least customer oriented retail team I’ve ever interacted with. They act like customers are a nuisance. The line is always stretching onto the road, which leads you to believe they’re busy. That is not the case. The people trained for the drive thru are just super slow at taking orders, which they will inevitably mess up. I will never patronize them again.

If you are in a hurry to grab a quick coffee in the morning don’t go to this Dunkin’ Donuts. They make you wait five minutes before anyone even take your order at the drive-through, and you hear them talking and laughing in the background. By the time you get to the window you have to re-order because the person that took the order barely speaks English and forgot what you ordered. I will not be going back

Consistently horrible service. I stop here a couple times a week because it is the only drive thru coffee spot on my way to work and I leave angry every time. You cannot understand the employees through the speaker, they make you repeat your order 10 times and then still get it wrong… EVERYTIME. They also take forever. Time I go out of my way for a new coffee spot

Absolutely terrible service. Went through the drive thru to get a coffee. Rudely spoken to in the broken English as I ordered that you could hardly understand. Once at the payment window the frail old lady made ZERO effort to reach her hand out the window, only for her to rudely say. Get out the car and pay! Zero appeal to ever return to this location!

Came through the drive through a few nights ago for some ice cream. I was the only customer at the drive through and saw no cars in the parking lot. I asked the lady working there about soft serve, which she initially told me they had, then changed her mind and immediately followed it up with«so what do you want?» When I didn’t answer right away because I was deciding what I wanted, she kept shouting hello at me until I gave her my order. When I finally got my ice cream, it was not only the wrong order, but it was honestly disgusting and inedible. It tasted like it had been badly freezer burnt then melted and frozen again. The nuts in it were not even crunchy. I immediately tossed it in the trash on the property after leaving the drive through. I won’t be back.

This is a difficult stop unless you are going East on North Ave. I would say that’s one of the major drawback to this location. The parking is limited, but there’s a decent amount of seating. Since it’s October I decided to try the pumpkin muffin. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t good either. It was too dry and could have used some walnuts, or something. It just wasn’t right. If you’re looking for a pumpkin muffin, just keep going east and stop at Panera. As of this writing there are ninety-six restaurants in Elmhurst. I plan on eating at, and reviewing, every one. I’m a fan of DD’s but this location is one of the worst. I suggest paying with credit card because they always have an issue making change. The drive thru is slow and the parking lot is dangerous. I drive out of my way to avoid this one.

I’ve been inside this location twice and was completely disgusted with it both times. Both visits were late at night and it was empty… yet it was dirty to the point i was shocked. There’s no reason, whatsoever, for it to have been that dirty when it’s not busy. The employees obviously don’t care about cleanliness or hygiene. I sort of have a phobia about fly’s, so i was VERY aware there were multiple flies buzzing around both times. Which just reinforced how dirty the place felt for me The selection I had to choose from was hardly anything at all. Of the donuts I did get were stale both times. It’s pretty sad when you can get a larger selection of fresher donuts at a gas station than a dunkin donuts. Getting in and out of this place is a pain in the butt too… if i could give this place zero stars i would

I love Dunkin Donuts and its coffee but this one is absolutely horrible. I’d like to find the zoning commissioner that allowed this DD to be built with the parking lot/drive-thru set up the way it is and give that person a mind boggling wedgie! It is a pain in the arse navigating around this tiny parking lot and is even more frustrating being backed up on North Ave. by selfish folks that block traffic waiting in the drive thru line. I try hard to avoid this DD!

There is nothing wrong with Dunkin Donuts coffee; actually, I really enjoy it. Just not tonight. And not here. Which pains me to the grounds to say. But the service I received was pleasant and quick; I also stopped in to get a couple of gift cards. This place has a steady clientele, at least from what I see when I’m in traffic, but maybe some consistency in the bean juice end of things would be good.

I hardly ever come here… but I needed to pick up donuts for work because it is my birthday(a tradition at my work… your birthday you buy). Great service from the folks here. he even gave me a 13th donut!
