I always find Chinese/Spanish fusion restaurants compelling because the Asian waiters know how to speak Spanish fluently and I am getting the best of both worlds when it comes to the food menu. It’s like I’ve entered some sort of utopia of bicultural bliss. Thank you, increasingly multicultural and diverse society. You’ve done well fo yoself. Boneless fried chicken cracklings are yummy, crispy and flavorful especially with the lemon and hot sauce. This goes for the side salad too. Biting into the sweet maduros and crispy chicken was epic. Big portions to be sure to share or be prepared to take home. My boyfriend had the fried fish which was soaked in an incredible warm tomato basil sauce that was to die for. I don’t normally eat tostones but when we dipped them in that sauce I certainly found myself wolfing down. For beverages, try their espresso con leche. So bitter, rich yet creamy all at the same time. Spanish coffee rarely disappoints. In terms of a décor, the restaurant is more diner-style with booths and comfortable seating. The live lobsters in the back definitely give it an authentic touch. Our servers also had a great sense of humor(and apparently, amazing linguistic fluency) which is a huge plus! Coming back :)

Great food served quick! The Carne Asada with maduros and yellow rice are the perfect combination. The ½ Fried Chicken combo is phenomenal as well. Be forewarned, this is one of those places you’ll develop a craving for once you’ve tried it!

I like their broiled lobster with fillet fish. The fried pork chop, maduro are also delicious here. The service is good.

I have been enjoying this restaurant since the late 70’s. If its ambivalence and special treatment then do not go there. But, if you want DELICIOUS tasting food, this is the place. The dishes are so variable and you can get a flounder filet and a whole steak with rice/plantains/papitas and small salad for under $ 15.00. What a bargain this place is. The food comes in a large portion so be sure to come hungry. My favorite is the steak with onions, fried rice, maduros and salad. What a dinner!!!

It’s super strange to sit in a place that looks and feels like a Chinese restaurant from the 90s, complete with faded food pictures and dirty high chairs, and order Spanish food. It was good, but I’ve definitely had Spanish chicken and shrimp with more flavor. It might also just be me but I prefer the beans in rice&beans to be soft and mushy instead of hard and watery. It just seemed sort of bland overall… and I feel kind of bad for saying so. The staff was really nice and helpful. I might just come back to try the Chinese food next time!

I like asian people making spanish food. Its cool! and they speak spanish too! this is a hard to find restaurant. its usually covered up with lots of signs in the front so the store front doesnt seem inviting. i came in here because i knew there was food. i tried their food and its definitely good but there is something missing. the service is slow, the food is ok and the décor is shotty. i come in usually for the lunch special and there isnt much to choose from, only 18 choices. i like jardin de china on junction blvd a lot better. since im usually around the area, i go here instead.

This is a decent place for Chino-Latino food… their chinese items seems to be better than the latin, although the maduros are always really good. i suggest take out. décor reminds me of a diner in need of of some renovations, and servers are definitely not the friendliest.

Man this place is so delicious, also so affordable. Minus one star for bad service and not so great of an atmosphere. Even though its Asian owned they make some damn good Spanish food!!!

Came in for dinner since this is one of my boyfriend’s ‘go to spots’ in the area. No frills Chinese/Spanish food. The extensive menu and different comibinations can seem a bit overwhelming. Just order by the number. I had the fried chicken with fried rice and maduros. Boyfriend had his usual which was shrimp and fish. The portions were huge. Had to pack half of my order to go. We came in hungry and left with full bellies.

Its a Chinese joint with a latino flavor. They ran out of the rotisserie chicken which I hear is awesome. The fried chicken(boneless chicarrones) wasn’t that great, pretty darn dry. The steak was excellent. Plantains ok. Paella pretty ok. I think I downgraded the joint because of cleanliness. They need to remodel with furniture that’s less greasy. I want to give it a 3.48, but alas

This is a great place! Didn’t even know it was here within blocks of us. Ohhh we will certainly be using them more often. Their beef tastes and looks like beef! Awesome!

Really delicious, greasy food. Best combination of Spanish and Chinese food. My faves are the Lomo Saltado(beef with onions, fries and sauce) over pork fried rice, or the chicharrones de pollo sin hueso(fried chicken pieces with NO bones– they also have with which is a little bit cheaper). A little disappointed its white and dark meat, you can’t only request white OR dark. My only gripe is that they tried to imprint my credit card for a delivery-which is ILLEGAL. The actual restaurant could use a major renovation also.

What’s not to like? Comfortable atmosphere, friendly service, bountiful portions of food and classic batidos! Prices are very reasonable. Steak and onions, salad and fried rice for $ 11.50. Milk shake for $ 3. Or just get the lunch specials for lunch!

I’ve been going to Dorado’s for about 6 years now. I’ve seen the prices go up over the years but it’s still a good deal for the portions! Great food and great prices. Service is decent depending on the waiter. Here are my favorite dishes: — #21 Broiled Chicken & Shrimp w/salad & plantains($ 12.55) — #10 Beef Steak, Pork Fried Rice(they let me sub Veggie Fried Rice), & French Fries($ 11.50, $ 1.50 extra if you want breaded steak — yummy too) –homemade ice tea(forgot the price & it’s not on the menu), it’s super sweet with fresh cut limes served in a large plastic wonton soup container!

Lunch on a weekday. A friend that used to live around the corner from here 10 years ago recommended this place because he remembered that the food here was good. I thought Chinese and Columbian food? Really? But I saw the Lunch specials for $ 5 – 6 from 11−3pm weekdays, and had to go in. Starting the meal off, we got a bread basket. Awesome! The food didn’t take that long to make, but I liked the initiative with the bread. The food was hot, filling and had a good amount of flavor. The lunch specials come with just enough food to fill you up, but if you get a regular dish, there is even more food so you’ll probably have leftovers… but those probably averaged around $ 14. I had the cashew chicken with pork fried rice. I thought it was really good… a little spice and other flavors, and with the fried rice which was average, the meal came together. The beef stew was really tender, but not a lot of flavor. The skirt steak was a little salty, but I think that was intended. The décor was a old, but not horrible. It’s full of mostly booths which makes the seating fill up fast even though there are usually 1 – 2 people taking up booths for 4. This is the first place I saw an old Chinese man speak fluent spanish to a customer. There might be a CC min, but not sure what. Accept V and MC.
