I hate that I’m writing a one star review for a freakin independently owned hardware store, but I’m seriously side eyeing the guy who works there. Me and my roommate bought 4 light bulbs from them yesterday for $ 1.30 a piece, for a grand total of $ 5.20. It turns out the wattage was too bright, so we went back today to exchange them for a lower wattage. This guy takes a look at the bulbs we’ve brought back and show us one that has a dark bottom, and proceeds to accuse of trying to return one of our own used bulbs. He does remember us from the day before, and seems to think it’s our grand scheme to swindle him out of $ 1.30, and refuses to give us an exchange. All attempts to explain to him how fruitless such an endeavor would be are to no avail, like why we would only try to give him one of our old bulbs out of 4, or why we would be coming back for bulbs with a lesser wattage, or why we would be doing this for a $ 1.30 profit, or why the bulb is BRANDFUCKINGNEW. Unless of course, YOU are the one selling used bulbs. He simply replies«Some people do these things». Seriously dude? And don’t «some people» me, you’re calling us thieves to our faces, and seriously petty thieves at that. Then he changes his story and says there are no exchanges on bulbs. I plainly(and quite loudly at this point) told him to give us back our bulbs, we would be taking our business elsewhere, and that I hope the $ 1.30 was worth losing local customers over. For the record, his wife who works there is a total sweetheart, and seemed sort of exasperated when we first met her and told her we sometimes tried to come here but her husband puts up a sign that he’s elsewhere, and no one is at the store to let you in. If you go, try to go when she’s there(they might be unexpectedly closed otherwise). She’s super helpful. But there’s another hardware store right across the street, plus a Target a few blocks away, and I don’t think I’m going to subject myself to this crap again.

If you don’t drive and need small hardware, tools, You can find it here. I mean, By the time you go to HOMEDEPOT(paying for the gas) is not worth to drag yourself 10 miles just to get a SCREWDRIVER. This place has been open since FOREVER(from what I remember at least 10 years or more). Made my Keys copied. needed a new lock for my place A new Driller Rishi knows a lot of the products so he can help you if you have any doubts or questions.
