Was surprised to have as pleasant a shopping experience as I did at Aerosoles this past Saturday. Usually avoid the mall as much as possible, but was nearby and didn’t want to hoof it to Forest Hills. Even though the store was busy, the sales girl got my shoes to try on quickly, and even recommended another pair that I ended up buying also. Was also very quickly rung up. Store definitely has amped up it’s customer service.

Over the years I started to buy shoes from Aerosoles. I find them to be pretty comfortable with current designs. So I stopped by the Queens Center location, hoping to buy a pair of loafers. They didn’t have my size so the sales person ordered a pair for me and she said that somebody would call me when it comes in. Finally it came and somebody called on Tuesday and left the message on my cell phone. I didn’t call back immediately since it wasn’t urgent and therefore, called the store 2 days later on Thursday. I explained my situation to the sales clerk, named Chris. He was very rude on the phone and said«Where have you been!!» Yes I indeed did not call back immediately but it was not like it was an emergency. Plus the shoes were already paid for when I ordered them. I’ve never experienced such rudeness, especially from a store. In addition, I added that I work and would not be picking up the shoes until Saturday. I went to the store on Saturday to pick up my shoes. Chris, the same person who I spoke to on Thursday, was there and got my shoes. I was puzzled because I thought I spoke to a man since Chris’s voice sounded masculine, however, she looked like a woman. Again, she showed rudeness and said«Oh, where have you? We were wondering what happened to you? and sucked her teeth. For God’s sake, it’s shoes!
