I really wish I had checked this place out on here before purchasing the package. I agree with everyone this is not only a scam but a sham! First of all the only person who was somewhat friendly was the front desk receptionist. The woman who brought me into her office to discuss my package and other options just seemed very uninterested in me and my needs she did her little presentation and was yawning throughout! She really came across like she didn’t care about helping me or about her job for that matter. Regardless of that tried to up sell me to the HCG package which costs $ 1000. When I told her I wasn’t interested in spending that kind of money she quickly just had me sign 3 forms gave me the cleanse package and ushered me out of her office. She took me over to another room to wait for my b12 shot… No one ever weighed me or anything. Didn’t schedule an appointment for my next shot. They scheduled an appointment for acupuncture but I don’t even know that I will return. I just had a really weird vibe from the moment I walked in the door. If you are considering this place I’d think twice don’t waste your money like I did.

Dr. Rapkin uses high pressure sales tactics, and his support staff is uninformed. They are so busy that they can’t handle the volume of people that are going in and out of their doors. I was misinformed on several occasions, and fed up after such a large investment, I filed a complaint with the Department of Consumer Affairs. Finally, someone listened to what I had to say! I was asked to come in and discuss the complaint, and I brought my husband because I never once felt comfortable in that office (be that due to sales pressure, rudeness, misinformation, or a factory style in and out kind of atmosphere). Rapkin was very accusatory towards his staff (calling them in to question), to me (asking if I realized how much extra work this made and if I knew how much that would cost him), and it was an awkward situation all around. He did reimburse my money, but I can guarantee that the only thing that changed from this situation is the contract that you sign when beginning treatment (as he told me this taught him that). Weird and disturbing. Don’t go here!

SCAM! Purchased B12 shots on Groupon and when I showed up I was then told they are worthless without another $ 1200 meal program and HCG shots. Med Tech is trashy and rude. Not worth the money! They limit you to 500 – 800 calories a day and you must exercise 5 days a week — I don’t need to pay $ 1200 to lose weight doing that when weightloss would happen with that regimen for free!

1 star because of the pressure tactics experienced. Rapkin lectures in a dominating, self-​righteous manner that comes across as an intimidation tactic to get you to sign an expensive weight-​loss contract/​program. Creepy. While the staff around him seem relatively «normal» if all you go in for is a B-​12 shot from them, the fact that the man in charge is sort of a Dr. Jekyll/​Mr. Hyde, led me to stay away.

I am very happy with my results so far the hcg is helping me shed weight and the acupuncture is really helping with some issues I had been having with my health. The staff is always very accommodating and friendly.

Do NOT go to this clinic! Dr. Rapkin is a rip off! He is arrogant and rude. The HCG is SO overpriced at $ 1300.00. He does not care about your health only the money!
