Small town diner with all the charm! Their Antique Veggie Sandwich and sweet potato fries are absolutely the best. Refuse to order sweet potato fries anywhere else anymore, as they don’t come close to these. Daily specials are good and at a good price. This is a stop each time we are in town!

Awesome breakfast, the bacon tastes smoked and delicious. I had the two eggs over medium came with breakfast potatoes and a biscuit with gravy. My mom said the tomatoes tasted fresh from the garden. Best food we had all trip!

Stopped here for breakfast with a group of friends and I’m glad I did! I ordered the smoked sausage egg bake special and it was amazing. It came with a homemade biscuit that melted in your mouth, as well as sliced tomatoes which were very fresh. The home fries just topped it all off and were cooked perfectly with a little crisp. They have great coffee as well, it was fresh. The place is very small, homey, and it was busy with only two people waiting on tables, but even so, they did a great job and accommodated everyone in the restaurant with good service. I will definitely be going back here.

The atmosphere is exactly what you think of when you’re in a small mountain town in Georgia. The food was Southern home cooking at it’s finest and very delicious. The only reason I did not give it a five because the service was a bit slow.

I like to go in the mornings for coffee and pancakes. They do have the best pancakes and breakfast. It’s a great little place to go and start the day.

A nice and homey feel. It’s rustic country for breakfast or lunch only. The hours are seasonal so check times for that day. They have daily specials each day. The portions are pretty large in my opinion. My first visit was really good and my husband felt so too. He had the country fried steak breakfast. I had the keep it simple plate with eggs, grits and a biscuit with gravy. Our waitress was friendly each visit. If you sit near the fireplace there are magazines, coloring books and games. The restaurant is also attached to a antique store. If you arrive at the right time it’s fun to walk off a little breakfast. I will definitely continue to frequent this little gem that takes you back in time. Update as of July 13th: We thought they served a breakfast and lunch menu all day but to our surprise they stop serving breakfast at 1pmI was told but the menu states 12 pm. Normally this is not a problem but I am a vegetarian again and I need protein. Since there is not a breakfast menu I am okay with grilled veggies over grilled cheese bread but hardly any protein. I didn’t ask for any pancakes or waffles just could they add an egg onto my order. I was told that is not allowed! I don’t understand why since they have eggs in the fridge. so I’m sad to say I will have to take away a star. Now they do have bacon still for the BLT. But no eggs! I find it crazy to not make an exception since in today’s restaurants eggs are being used on pizza, salads, and many vegetable dishes like asparagus with poached eggs, etc. And they also have egg salad but I hate mayonnaise in most salads. I guess I’m sad to say I can’t be a regular for the lunch menu. But I will return for breakfast another day…

Awesome little breakfast place! Kindest restaurant owners around. My family really enjoyed our meal here on our vacation. The food was amazing! I had the Keep It Simple which was phenomenal. I tried my mom’s pancakes which were on point. Everyone who had omelettes claimed they were the best they’ve ever had. Coffee was good! Service was fantastic. They are so sweet and helpful and genuinely excited to do their jobs. Definitely go have breakfast here when you’re in the area! It’s the perfect addition to your vacation!

So I have never taken the time to write a review for any business before, but I was very unsatisfied with my experience at the Cornerstone Café. When you walk in the atmosphere is awesome, it’s very welcoming and relaxing, and our waitress was so great. We just wanted a little bite to eat and some coffee since is was in the afternoon. We ordered one order of chicken and fries, while eating we found out that they charge 3 dollars for sharing food? I have literally never heard of that in my whole life! I had 3 fries from my husbands plate and we got charged(the chicken basket we ordered was 4.50). So basically we paid for two meals and got one, because I ate a fry. The owner and owner’s daughter were seriously watching us like hawks to make sure we weren’t sharing, it was the most uncomfortable and weird experience. Definitely the biggest waste of money I’ve ever spent. You can have your three dollars but we will never be back.

Staff was very nice and attentive the coffee was good. But the food was horrible. I ordered the«keep it simple» 2-eggs and home fries with biscuit and gravy I passed on the $ 3 oj omg. When I got my food I knew I was not going to be impressed, deep fried break your teeth potatoes a biscuit that was more cake then biscuit and a cheap bagged gravy mix. The eggs were cooked ok thus the 2-stars or it would have been a 1-star review. There is not much in Ellijay area for breakfast so I’m trying to find a good one. I guess I’ll keep looking. I would save my money and time for a place that cares about how the food tastes.

A group of 12 friends stopped there on the way out of town after a weekend retreat. We were seated 10 minutes before breakfast hours were over. They were happy to take our breakfast order and it was worth it. The food was very good. The biscuits were huge and very good. I had a standard breakfast with eggs, hash, biscuit and gravy and bacon. Gravey was creamy and yummy. Eggs cooked perfectly and nice crispy bacon. Others in our group had the baked egg dish with sausage, and veggies and cheese. No complaints. The place itself is small and quaint with lots of crafts, amusing and inspirational wall hangings. We did not have a long wait for a Sunday morning. The service was quick and pleasant. We all agreed that we would definitely return if in the area.

I had the simple breakfast, and it wasn’t bad. My wife had the pancakes and strawberries, and the strawberries were frozen. This restaurant isn’t a bad restaurant, but it wasn’t amazing. It was average. They did have good, cheap prices.

Stopped into Ellijay to run from the crowds in Blue Ridge over the weekend. Unilocaled a few locations in Ellijay and opted to try Corner Stone Café and wasn’t disappointed at all. Small menu with a good variety, very friendly staff(brought crayons out to my 2 year old that was having a ‘moment’) and my burger was to die for! Not sure what made it so good but I’d go back in a heartbeat. It’s small, quaint but friendly and intimate so stop in & give them a try!

This place is adorable, we went to brunch here one fall weekend when we were up in the GA mountains. Likes: Such a friendly, welcoming place. Good, solid brunch. We bundled up and sat outside with our dogs while eating. Dislikes: It’s been a few years, but I remember it being kind of small and having limited patio space, so I would assume it gets crowded during warmer weather. Take it or leave it: Take it. Such a fun brunch if we’re ever back in Elijay.
