Love the Boardroom! This is the 20th season that I’ve shopped at the Boardroom; they have always steered me in the best direction with gear recommendations. The Timkey family is super friendly! You may be greeted by their equally as friendly beagle pups when you walk in.

This father-​son business in the heart of the mountain town. They are knowledgeable, friendly and truly love what they do. This is the only place we go to gear up — everything from boards, to tune ups, to hand warmers. The Boardroom stands by their products and their service. Plus, rad free stickers!

In todays day and age, I feel like it is very common for people to order their snowboards and gear from giant online retailers (yes I have been guilty of this too), but there’s something missing from that experience. The staff at the boardroom are the missing link in the process of buying shred gear. I was in Ellicottville for two weeks, and I think I was in the Boardroom everyday! I bought a new pair of boots and demoed a couple of high performance boards from never summer, and my experience was excellent all around. Spence really helped me out picking out stuff that he knew I was going to love! Can’t wait to come back next season and kick it at the boardroom.

I have been traveling to Ellicottville for over 15 years. The Boardroom is the only shop I will get my ski’s tuned at. The shop has changed over the years to more of a snowboard place, but they still do phenomenal work on skis. They carry a wide variety of gear and always have sales going.
One thing that is a huge selling point is being able to purchase lift tickets in the store. Typically I’m with a group of riders who rent, so being able to get the rentals and lift tickets at the same place saves time. Speaking of rentals, they carry newer stuff that my friends have always been satisfied with.
Great location, ½ mile from slopes.
I don’t normally give 5 stars, but this place deserves it!
Only downside, Expand Parking Lot!

The Boardroom in Ellicottville, NY is a great place to buy snowboard gear. They are located about 1 mile from Holiday Valley which makes them a convenient stop for snowboarders that visit the region.
They sell the best brands like Gnu, Lib Tech, Burton, Roxy and pretty much anything that’s good.
The PowderRoom is an extension of the Boardroom that sells womens gear exclusively.
The sales staff are awesome. They always give you the information that you need to hear, not some crap to get you to buy products. They treat you with dignity and respect and will get you in the right gear.

Home of all things boarder. I bought my fancy new board, boots and bindings. Lots of smart Burton, Roxy and Boarder Girl gear (in the annexed Powder Room, natch).
The staff rocks in that non-​chalant, I’m a stoned snowboarder way.
