Sugar Pine Lodge

This former B&B really brings on the charm! Located so conveniently off Jefferson street it’s close to everything you would need. The accommodation itself is pure perfection. I love everything about this place! So much detail but into the décor in every room. The four separate upstairs suites are decorated in historic colours and finished. Each suite has a generous decked out bed, it’s own ensuite and fitting area, all very inviting. The gourmet kitchen is any chefs dream, the large formal dining room caters to large or small groups. The outside grounds are extremely large and well kept, hosting a fire pit area, covered picnic area, pool and large hot tub. The onsite games area also adds to its appeal. Love this place, so great for larger groups, bachelorette parties, weddings, or just time away. Highly recommend.

My boyfriend and I stayed in the Victoriana room (Suite 3) at the Sugar Pine Lodge. It’s a small room, but very cozy and clean. The style is romantic and Victorian with interesting knickknacks, such as a stuffed, life-​like cat and a mini Santa Claus doll, decorating the room.
I was pleasantly surprised that our room was very accommodating. Some of the amenities included a blow dryer, hot towel rack, safe box, mini refrigerator (stocked with a free bottle of water), coffee maker (with free packets of coffee, tea, and hot chocolate), packets of free makeup remover, a boombox, deck of cards, and a TV with a DVD player. Plates of free cookies and Hershey kisses are provided as well a convenient shuttle to and from the ski area.
The staff here is so hospitable. I felt very welcomed and comfortable. The food at breakfast that comes with the stay at the lodge is amazing! There is a large variety of food and drinks served in their homey dining room where their resident cute, obedient poodle makes an appearance every now and then.
I’d definitely like to return again!
