Though I moved and this practice is now a 25 – 30 minute drive in traffic for me, I still patronize Professional Vision. That’s because the service I’ve been given by Dr. Gallagher and company has been top-​notch.
Dr. Gallagher always has a pleasant demeanor during my exams but more importantly she is very knowledgeable. I trust her feedback. I leave visits feeling that she was looking out for me and not constantly trying to sell me on expensive lenses or frames like some other optometrists might. I believe the crew at this office does keep up with the latest examination technology though so I’m confident that if anything is going downhill with my eyes they’ll discover it early in the process.

Wonderful customer service at the front of the house, on the phone, and from the opticians and eye doctor. I have a very serious prescription (I would be legally blind if it weren’t correctable), which can present some challenges with filling my prescription for eyeglasses. I’m also a former optician myself (though I didn’t let them know that), so I know the difference between a well-​done job and a poor one when it comes to cutting lenses. I was able to speak directly with the opticians who cut the lenses, and they made recommendations, and filled the prescription wonderfully well. And they also did a rush job for me so that I would have my new glasses by the weekend! I am more than happy with my experience there and will be returning for a second pair of eyeglasses.

My husband has been wearing glasses for over 20 years. When he had his prescription made here the glasses were terrible. We went back almost immediately and they just kept saying that it was correct. After a couple visits we just decided to not waste our time anymore because they would not listen. About 9 months later my husband was laying in bed and for some reason held his glasses up backwards and low and behold everything was perfectly clear. It appears that they had flipped the prescription. We went back to let them know and again they just said it was correct and that his prescription must have changed. That would be a plausible explanation if the glasses had not been incorrect after day 1 his old glasses still work perfectly well. These guys overcharged us and then refused to make it right. I cannot say how unprofessional my experience has been.

I have been going to Professional Vision for 13 years and have only seen Dr Gallagher. I would never go anywhere else. This is a quality customer service driven operation. Dr. Gallagher is the best. She is thorough and explains everything. I also had an experience to see Dr Hendin and he was wonderful. He was very thorough and also explained everything that he wanted me to do. There is also another wonderful person there. Her name is Kristen a certified Optician. I will only go to her to get new glasses or if I am having problems. Kristen is the kindest, most friendly person I know. She takes her time and also explains exactly what she will be doing. If you need an eye doctor this is a great place to go. Very friendly staff

I recently moved to Ellicott City, and needed an eye exam. I went on Unilocal to find a place with good reviews that would also take my insurance. At first I was suspicious that this place had 5 solid stars… I decided to try it out, and I’m very satisfied with the outcome. I waited to write my review until I had gone back for a follow up post eye exam. It is easy to make an appointment, the staff is very efficient and friendly, and Dr Schultz was very nice and courteous. I love that they are not pushy about trying to sell you frames or contacts. I have already recommended this place to friends.

I was with my previous eye doctor for well over a decade but on a friend’s recommendation I gave this place a shot. I felt liked a valued member of the family here.

I recently went in as a new patient. From the moment I walked in the staff was very professional and very helpful. I had an appointment at 11:00 am and it wasn’t long before we got started. The doctor was very informative and took her time to understand my issue and concern. Once I was done with the appointment I spoke with an associate to order my new glasses. This one of the best places I have ever gone for eye care. I would highly recommend them and will continue to go back whenever I need eye care.

The Doctors at Professional Vision are awesome. I have been a patient since 2000 and usually only go for the every couple year checkup but recently had a issue and they were able to get me in quickly. They called me to see how I was doing and even made an appointment with a specialist for me. WOW! In a world were customer service seems a thing of the past, I was blown away. Thanks for taking such good care of me. I have recommended in the past and will continue to do so!
