The NY style pizza was amazing. Added pepperoni and ricotta. So good. The hot wings were pretty good too.

The staff is plenty friendly and welcoming. The menu is large enough for variety but small enough not to be overwhelmed. The taste is not bad and far from great. As an earlier review stated«mediocre» at best. The mediocrity combined with above average prices is what gave it three stars. I’d give it two and a half if possible but I can’t, and it deserved better than only two stars. This was my third time going and it will definitely be my last. I gave their pizza a couple tries and it just can’t compete with other local pizzerias.

Found this place after Unilocaling for a decent Italian place(something different from the Olive garden chain). Very friendly service! Since this was our first time here, the lady helping us recommended a few dishes. Hubby and I were craving some lasagna — so we each got one(good sized portion). We both liked the lasagna– though hubby said he would have liked it better with more mozzarella cheese in the layers. We also ordered the shrimp gondola apetizer after she also recommended it to us. It really was delicious– will order again. We also got linguini with clams in white sauce. Again, portion size was just right — but the flavor was very watered down and we really couldn’t taste anything. My daughter got the spaghetti mama with meatballs– pasta was ok, liked the meatballs better. Overall, we enjoyed our meal & will definitely be back to try other items on the menu. esp their pizza! :D

I try my best to support local business but I find the prices to be high for mediocre food. I’ve had various items and I found it to be okay but for the price, I’d rather go to a chain. Will I try it again? Nah. I’m good.

I thought the menu was lacking. I thought the prices were high. I actually ordered the sausage spaghetti and didn’t like the flavor at all. I paid $ 16 for that plate of food. I gave it back to them and just asked them for a Gyro. The Gyro was $ 9. I think the price was significantly different and had I been the owner I would’ve returned the difference. Not here. The food was OK, but nothing to write home about. This was my wife’s second time there, and she didn’t think either time was that great. We were going to order pizza, but I didn’t see anywhere on the menu board that spoke about pizza. For someone that is never been there, I only saw about six different choices of food. However they sell their pizza, it wasn’t a published price or amount. The owner may be a nice guy or gal, but nothing wow’ed me enough that would make me want to go back again. For the price we paid and the food we got, we might as well go on the eggspectation next-door. UPDATEINRESPONSETOTHEOWNER: If you wanted to return my money, the guy would have brought my refund when he brought the Gyro. I am not coming back for any refund, too late for that. My wife and I didn’t see ANY way to buy pizza. Your regulars may know exactly how to get pizza, but new customers may be challenged to find a way order pizza. I am sure there was nothing wrong with the sausage spaghetti dish, I just didn’t like it(at all). Like I would return a shirt at a retail store because I didn’t like it, I expect the same thing with a restaurant. The gyro you replaced it with was a good sandwich. You noticed I gave 1 star ratings to other businesses? Very observant! Be happy I gave you two stars! Let me explain — A) no way to order pizza, minus 1. Feel free to publish a photo of your pizza menu. B) I expected to be able to order more then few items in that 10 foot by 10 foot menu you have on the wall, minus 1. Feel free to publish a photo of your menu wall(be happy I didn’t). C) No refund because I didn’t like your sausage spaghetti, minus 1. You can say what you want but you never intended to return the difference until you saw this posting. I am not looking for free food, you should be paid for the products you offer. Other then what I mention in this posting, it is not a bad place. I have seen better places and had better selections for the price I paid. Unilocal is designed for consumers to express their satisfaction and dissatisfaction. It is good to see you care about your reputation. Bravo for you. My wife and I try a new place every week — I chose you over eggspectation and the Subway next door. You were a new experience I just happen not to like.

This is a dependable restaurant that I make a point of visiting at least once every time I’m home. I’ve found my favorites and even though they seem to have changed management recently, the food remains tasty. I recommend the penne caprese(which I order with spaghetti noodles) or the cheesesteak sub.

This place has really gone down. I ate there last night thinking of previous good meals. I wanted something different so I checked the chalk board and decided on Chicken Romano which sounded delicious. I got my house salad as soon as I sat down. It was very good. Thirty minutes later, i went up to the manager, Claudia, to inquire about my entrée. I noticed she was busy getting take out orders ready. Seems they get lots of take out orders. After she told me my entrée would take a few more minutes, I got fed up and asked for a refund. She walked over to the kitchen and told the cook I didn’t want the food he was just beginning to cook and said cook took my entrée off the front burned and threw it on the back burner! Very nasty! I got my refund but I will never set foot in this place again. Won’t be long until it goes out of business!

I have been eating regularly at Pasta Blitz for about the past five years. My primary palate delight is their tomato and cheese pizza with extra tomatoes and garlic. It is to die for!!! I’ve tried most of the rest such as Matchbox, Pacci’s, Bartucci’s, Pizza CS, as well as the bottom of the barrel fare from Pizza Hut, Dominos, Papa John’s and Pizza Boli’s. None of them come close to the mouth watering experience of sinking your teeth into a Pasta Blitz pizza. I have to drive forty-five minutes to get there but it’s well worh it. Most pizza gives me heartburn and acid reflux after eating it but never have I experienced that problem eating at Pasta Blitz. Their ingredients are so much better than the rest of the competition. And they don’t skimp on the quantity of toppings, sause, and cheese. It gives me great pleasure to recommend these folks. They’ll treat you right and you will always find a neat and well maintained environment to dine.

We’ve been to Pasta Blitz many times. It’s convenient to our house. Decent selection on their menu. Food comes out fast. Only downside is that at least in our opinion it always seems to be just slightly overpriced. But we will continue to go, probably every month or two. It’s just too easy, close and simple to not go on lazy dinner nights. Go, but don’t expect the absolute best. Expect very good for their price point.

I’ve been coming to Pasta Blitz for many years now and have never really had a bad experience. Sometimes the food would be mediocre, but definitely not something to complain about. Today, I went in wanting to try something new and asked the lady what she recommended. She was helpful in narrowing down my choices and decided on the Chicken Marsala. I got my pasta to-go(took about 15 min). Got home and excitedly opened up my tray. The serving had 3 large pieces of chicken over a bed of pasta. Good amount of food for the price. So far so good… Until I took the first bite… So so so bland. I really wanted to like this dish, but I just couldn’t. I tried to give it some flavor with freshly ground black pepper, but it still tasted like I was eating plain noodles that had just been taken out of water. This was the first time I couldn’t finish an entrée from pasta blitz — and not because I was full. Had to eat the 2 garlic breads(which are quite delicious) the pasta came with to try and fill me up instead. 2.5 stars overall but rounding down because how the food tastes is the most important part of a restaurant imo

I asked my friend for food recommendations in Ellicott City and Pasta Blitz was the first one that came to mind. The restaurant operates«order and pay» style. Most items are ready in 10 minutes. For fountain beverages, they have Pepsi products but have Pure Leaf bottled beverages. Among the three of us, we shared a Chicken Marsala dinner entrée and a large Capricciosa Pizza. The Chicken Marsala consisted of three tender chicken breasts sauteed with mushrooms in marsala wine sauce over spaghetti and garnished with fresh parsley. The dish was quite flavorful. The Capricciosa Pizza was spread with tomato sauce and topped artichoke hearts, mushroom, red roasted peppers, fresh tomatoes, and black olives. It was a bit on the bland side but I like it. Our food came with Garlic Bread, a more garlicky version of Pepperidge Farms’ Garlic Bread.

As far as I’m concerned, this place has the best pizza in the area. I’ve looked for New York style pizza all over the place and this is the closest I’ve found. The restaurant itself is nice, and it seems to cater to families with young children. I’ve tried several other things on the menu like fried calamari, spaghetti and meatballs, fried mozzarella, etc. Most of it is OK and probably 3 stars. The chicken wings tend to be on the thin(and sometimes overcooked) side, but they’re tasty. The pizza really makes this a 4-star place. I really, really wish they delivered!

A decent local Italian joint, whose pizza is on my rotating list. It’s a classic middle-of-the-road pizza– it’s not the charred New York style, nor the heavy bread-like, nor the extra-thin wood-fired kind. Just a proper thin-crust. Topped with 1 or 2 toppings, the large makes a decent meal for 2 – 3 folks. I’ve had the pasta a few times, and it was reasonable, but to me this is really a pizza place. I’d award 5 stars, but sometimes the crust is a bit tough like the dough was over-worked that day(baking people know what I’m talking about). Friendly service. They run specials including coupons in local mailings, as well as(currently) Frequent Flier restaurant rewards programs. They’re local /not-a-chain which is a plus in my book.

Food was very good today and service was exceptional from one of the original people that works at PastaBlitz. Seemed she is really trying hard to make sure that exceptional service is provided to the customers. This needs to be something that some of the other new employees strive for. Pizza was really really yummy tonight.

I came here for lunch on a Sunday and it was reasonably priced and I liked their salad. I got their salmon salad which was large with a good piece of salmon on top and a side of garlic bread. My husband got their cheesesteak which was OK. My friends really love their Italian salad here. They have a variety of good options to eat here.

Everything here tastes like it was taken out of a box and reheated. Not fresh at all. It reminded me of the pizza you’d get in a school cafeteria. I’d rather just make it at home myself.

First time here and I thought the place was pretty damn good. Both the food and service was good and it’s close to where I live. Upon walking in, there was a woman wiping windows, turned around and smiled at me, opened the door for me and said«Hello!». I walked in and the woman at the counter was very informative and recommended the Crab Chesapeake as that was a very popular dish. I ordered that and also ordered the Fried Calamari. I sat down and 5 minutes later the Calamari came out. It wasn’t bad! Some pieces were a bit chewy which was fine with me. Plenty of lemon to squeeze out onto the pieces with marinara sauce. Tasty! Then a few minutes after that, my meal came out. Pretty damn good I tell ya. There wasn’t a lot of crab in it, in fact there was little pieces all over the meal but at 9 dollars?! Every bite I took, I tasted crab. The penne was cooked perfectly and the sauce stuck well. The portions were big, that made me happy! I’ve only been here once but I’m planning to stop by again soon and try out other entrees!

Owner tried to message me on Unilocal to take down my review in exchange for a free pizza — yes offer me the least expensive food for his business to make with the least overhead. Guess what? Now it stays — raising the prices on your food while cutting corners = crappy food.
