As we drove past we saw a man sitting at the counter eating a sandwich. Figured we would run in an get one to split & eat after our hike. We parked our car out front and went inside where a nice man & woman greeted us and immediately asked us about our Shepard/lab with his head out the window! The sandwich was delicious and they even threw in a little extra roast beef for our baby boy max! Stopping at this deli was by far the best decision we made so far today! We WILL be back!

Easily the best deli for miles. Specials always the way to go. Fantastic, pastrami, chicken cutlet, etc., easily city-level quality.
Only downside is the sometimes obstinate staff, infuriating practice of making customers wait in line twice — once to order and once to pay.
Partisan Jets and Mets institution.
Bizarre, legal (?), refusal to allow patrons to recycle trash. Inquiries on the subject met with mouth frothing venom.
