Triple D Boot & Shoe Repair

A botched repair job: Took $ 475 leather briefcase for simple preventative repair on the carry handle. Picked up and was dismayed at lack of care/​quality. Later on a biz trip, realized the bag didnt hang right. It turned out they removed a steel support because they didnt know why it was needed! Took it bag for repair. When they called 4 wks later, I was horrified how they made the problem worse. Another 5wks went by and my highly sentimental bag is all but destroyed. Rather than sewing seams, they use glue. They teared the lining in two places and glued leather patches on the fabric to hide tears. This briefcase was given by my late father. I am equally appalled as I am heart broken of what they did to this bag when I took it for a simple repair to prevent a problem down the road.

Was charged a higher price than quoted, then extremely rude when discussion came.

Don’t! Expensive…$ 43 for loafer rubber half-​soles? 1/​8″ thicker than orig – platform loafers! Drive to Seattle – it will be cheaper and quality done including cost of gas. Oh yes, and not done within one week as promised «I was our of town»… give Triple D a miss.
