Nick & Joe’s Pizza

Stopped in on our trip back to Florida, 9 of us walked in 15 minutes before they closed and they were super polite. Pizza was excellent. Thank you for accommodating us.

Service was great but crinkle cut french fries from a bag… I just can’t. The thin crust pepperoni pizza was decent but I didn’t love the crust.

ordered take out. the food was pretty good, hot and tasty. just what I expected from this type of restaurant. got a small cheese calzone and cheese ravioli for $ 17. the ravioli came with a small salad and bread. the salad was just iceberg, tomato and onion. but it was fresh.

Dinning in: the place smells like a middle school cafeteria. The pizza roll was fine, but the cheese garlic bread was soaked with grease. Overall, the food reminded me of something I would get in a public school lunchroom

The white cheese pizza with a spinach topping was pretty good. The ricotta cheese was on point! The mozzarella sticks, not so much. The food isn’t amazing, but it won’t make you wish that you should have cooked dinner yourself tonight.

We had both a sub and pizza. While they were not the best we have ever had both were tasty and better than all the chain restaurants. They were also reasonably priced. The sub was big and had high quality ingredients including a very good roll (key). The pizza (bacon and ham) was fresh with great crust and flavorful toppings. The menu is very extensive and includes a number of calzones and Stromboli as well as pizza and subs. Décor is average pizza joint décor.

I don’t see what all the complaints are about. I personally have ordered from here a handful of times and they almost always are here long before I expect. Their food is pretty good. Not the best pizza I had but for around here… it’s pretty good! Subs are good, just the rolls don’t always seem so fresh. Pricing is better than most of their competition locally. So, overall… it’s worth it. Staff are kind of dicks though.

Fair is Fair, After my scathing review and rant about this business, I feel compelled to write that I got what I asked for. After several attempts over about a day and a half to track down the owner, I finaly got him on the phone (yes, I was p*ssed). After explaining my position, he made me feel as though he was not interested in comping me anything, so I basically told him to forget it, that I would go elsewhere for a pizza/​cheese steak joint. I figured if he didnt get the significance of my complaint and the fact that I took the time to track him down, it was his loss, not mine. Low and behold, just today a delivery person showed up with The $ 17 that I had argued for. Additionally, Sinse I did make the remark that he should work at his business to show his clients that he gives a d*m, it appears that he does work at all of his locations — hence the difficulty in tracking him down. So — Thank you Nick and Joes for refunding my money. Now lets see if you improve on your customer service. I wish you well.

Great food, but horrible service. I constantly have to repeat myself when trying to place orders. I’ve hung up and ordered elsewhere twice. The staff always seems inconvenienced when placing my orders.

If a girl with a accent answers your call for a pick-​up or delivery order beware … She’ll not take your order properly and ask you several times to repeat and STILL GET IT WRONG !!!
Too bad because the pizza is fairly good when they get the order down correctly and they are pretty speedy on delivery’s.

No different than any other pizza place around here. They all are pathetic.
We just ordered a cheese steak pizza. I had high expectations, my fault. It was flavorless, no sauce, minimal cheese, no onion. Just dried cut up steak with some cheese on toast. Yea, YUM!
So we edited it. I fileted the pizza (yea, FILET) and we threw some home-​made sauce in between. Threw a thin layer or sauce on top and some cheese. Then threw it in the toaster. Are you drooling yet? You should be. It was amazing.
Nick and Joe, you can contact me for some (amateur) ideas that are clearly better than yours.
So at the end of the day, it’s clear that this area can’t handle pizza/​italian food. But as lame as this pizza was, it wasn’t the worst for this area.

Where to begin, waitress took the wrong order, soda dispenser was busted, nobody seemed to speak English or Italian and when finally got order of spaghetti it was totally inedible, although the sauce seemed good– the spaghetti was like they fished it out of the Severn River. Couldn’t be any worse. Prefer joint next to Wawa on ride out of Delaware Park Casino. Obviously its been a long time since Nick or Joe was there.

The cheeesteak is big enough to share and usually doesn’t disappoint. Although, there are several restaurants close by with better. No minimum order for delivery. The guys answering the phone can be frustrating and you’ll have to repeat your order often several times because of the language barrier. Most of the side items are a miss though. I dont think they change the oil that often, fried food arrives soggy and tasting like… well old fry oil (an amalgam of all things fried before it). I went inside once and that was a mistake, It was really hot with flies buzzing around, the place looked dirty overall
Lately they’ve taken to spray painting sheets of some sort as signage. Skip.

Ate wings here today. They weren’t good and the a/​c wasn’t cooling the place down. It has a floor unit! Won’t go here again.
