We were very disappointed. My nachos were cold, hot dog was too. My husbands turkey hoagie was tasteless and there was very little turkey. We had to throw most of the food away. I’m upset I had to spend $ 31.54 for a meal we couldn’t eat. For that price we could have gotten twice as much food elsewhere and been able to eat it. Wish they gave refunds…

I’ve been going to DaddyO’s for years and love their pizza so much, its been almost all I have ordered at DaddyO’s until yesterday when our Cecil Brunch Club visited yesterday evening. In fact 17 of us showed up. I ordered the Pizza Meatball Grinder special and some red skinned potatoes. Both were exceptional and memorable. You know you want to go back when you can rave about a place. Our server, Chris, was superb and handled our whole table as well as two other tables of people not in our foodie group. Chef Joan came out and greeted us and the owner, Jaime stopped in for a few moments too. Very clean dining areas, the whole place looked spotless. I had one single incident quite a few years ago with a highly burnt crust and the lady working behind the counter wanted to give me another burnt slice from the same pie. She didn’t understand then, but I still go there and I love the food, desserts, soups, etc.

Place is a hidden gem. Small lunch/dinner place. my coworker took me here one day and it hit the spot. I got a chicken cheesesteak sub. The prices were reasonable. The staff was friendly.

Great food, nice portions. We tried broccoli & cheese and the Maryland crab chowder. Really great flavor served in large bowls. The small is a bowl anywhere else. I had the jerk tuna salad which was also quite large and tasty. A table next to us got a soft shell crab sandwich that looked huge. Service was excellent. They also have a decent selection of wines and beers. The place is much nicer inside than the location might lead you to believe since it shares a lot with a gas station.

I have never had a bad meal here, I highly recommend stopping by. I work close so I am here for lunch often, and the food is always good. The Sherry laced crab bisque is wonderful, full of lumps of crab meat. Their wraps are always amazing, served with fresh fruit, salads are generous portions for a great price(delicious as well), and their pizzas are wonderful. They have very good dinner entrees, specials everyday, and live music as well. This place is good for a date night, friends get together, or a family meal as well. Very classy spot!

We needed a place to meet for dinner for six friends — all of whom knew each other online but several had never met face-to-face before. Three were traveling home to upstate NY from a motorcycle meet in Daytona, two(me and my wife) live just outside of Philly, and the other lives an hour’s drive west in MD. We found this place through Unilocal & Tripadvisor. Summary: very good food, excellent service, and very reasonable prices. The place was 2⁄3 full when we arrived(7pm-ish on a Saturday) and after my wife told them the circumstances of our get-together, they gave us a table in a back room so we could talk as loud and as long as we wanted. Service was prompt, entrees were served all at the same time and warm, and the server was attentive without hovering. The only downer was that this place is an hour’s drive from home. If it were closer it could easily become our favorite place.

We drive far outside of Ekton for meals all the time. We have been searching for somewhere to eat in our own town, but Elkton is not really known for its cuisine, let’s say. Our relatives recommend Golden Corral; that’s fine dining for most people around here. We have found a few decent places, but nothing we look forward to going to and sitting down and working our way through the menu. Daddy-o’s is finally our local place! [Don’t get me wrong, Durham’s has excellent barbecue, but ixnay on the ambianceay, you order, you chat in line, you count the flies, you take it home.] Daddy-o’s was lovely. Our server was knowledgable and attentive, but not too attentive, the food was very good, the portions were good, the menu was intriguing enough, the place was clean and comfortable. Prices were fair. My partner had the crab bisque, which he said was EXCELLENT. I was tempted, it looked and smelled amazing, large chunks of crab, but I am gluten free and they make it with a roux, plenty of cream, it definitely isn’t a faux, flour based bisque, but is not GF. The server knew what I was asking, I didn’t have to explain GF, he had suggestions for me, including a GF pizza which was not on the menu. I got the cashew chicken salad over mixed greens with grapes and cherry tomatoes. Yummy salad, nice healthy greens, hefty serving of chicken salad, nice balsamic dressing. I also ordered fries, you know, to balance out the salad. They were awesome! Thick cut, hot, tasty, nice sprinkle of salt, perfection. My dining partner also ordered a chicken quesadilla, big and loaded with onions, chicken, green peppers, with sour cream, lettuce, and salsa on the side. Looked like a nice whole grain tortilla. He enjoyed every bite. Said the bisque was the best he’d ever had. Overall, our meal wasn’t perfection, but it was pretty darn close. And it surely exceeded Elkton expectations. We will be eating there again, and I’ll update my review.
