Office Depot stores don’t accept returns of your online order. What a joke. I had a fan that I had to return because it was making lot of noise. When asked why they would not, the store manager said they don’t accept returns if the item is not in their inventory. After asking couple of times, got the same arrogant response, finally he told me I have to mail them the product back. Never shop at Office Depot or Office Max again. Just didn’t like the attitude of this store manager. Staples is way better I think.

It’s taken me a few trips to warm up to the idea of even reviewing this place, but today was it. I’ve been here 3 or 4 times to mail packages. I always use the USPS envelopes they have onsite. There’s always a problem or issue because the envelopes and boxes provided by USPS are so disorganized no one can tell what’s what. I grabbed a Priority Mail envelope because there was nothing else I could see. I packaged everything up and gave it to the young lady at the counter. She said it was $ 11.75. I said — These are the $ 5.75 envelopes. «No, they’re not.» So she walked over to the USPS envelope and box display, dug under some stuff for awhile and popped out with a $ 5.75 envelope buried underneath miscellaneous shipping supplies… so easy to find. I had already packaged up my items and asked her — how would anyone be able to find that envelope? «Well this one is $ 5.75 and this one is $ 11.75.» Are you really wanting me to break open my package because you found a different envelope underneath some stuff that no one else would ever find? «YES.» BYE.

This review only speaks to the printing/mailing dept at this Office Depot. My family and I have been using this printing/mailing dept for some time now and we have never had a problem as long as you come prepared. The dept. usually does not have a line and if there is, it is usually only a person or so long. They usually work through everyone pretty quickly. Most of the time we come prepared with the package and the shipping label attached. This makes for a really quick process, basically hand it off, they weigh it and then they hand you a receipt… boom done! Like I said earlier, if you come prepared, they are super fast, if not, then it depends on your issue, but the workers seem very helpful and willing to walk the customer through the process, which is great to see. Overall, love the printing/shipping dept, they are quick and easy if you come prepared. So Mr. Post man, the package is at Office Dept.
