My wife called and was told that the service fee would be 25.00 + the price of the handle which would start at 40. She clearly said she wanted a handle with a lock.
When the technician came out, he showed us handles that started at 69.00. When asked about the 40.00 options, he said «yeah, without locks. I have those and can show you them now». He then said it would be a 25.00 plus a «labor fee» of 19.00 and the price of the door knob. When she told him she was not told about the 19.00 labor fee or that the door knobs WITH LOCKS started at 69.00 and not 40.00, he said he would still need the 25.00 service charge for driving out to the house. My wife said twice she didn’t want the service and wouldn’t pay him the service fee for driving out and had to literally ask him to leave our house.
Shadiest locksmith ever.
When I called the company to complain, I was transferred a few times and ended up hanging up in frustration in order to call another locksmith.
