The food was great! The atmosphere leaves a bit to be desired(but what do you expect from a pizza joint?). We got the«chips» as an appetizer, and then got the Greek, the Popeye, and a pepperoni pizza for the main course. All were great, but really enjoyed the Greek. The crust on all of the pizzas was delicious, light and fluffy with a hint of oil. The only complaint that I had was the greasiness of the pizza – it had a little more grease than I wanted.

My favorite place in Elko, so far. Pure accident that I wondered in, very happy I did. Bowling alley, Lagunitas, I found no reason to leave. $ 12.50 for shoes and all I could cosmic bowl. The employees here are great! The two who had put up with me throughout the night, were polite, and attentive. The bowling lanes were well oiled, and I used a house ball I was able to hook in the pocket. I wish I had gotten something to eat, but I’ll return to give it a try. I had a lot of fun here.

Perhaps they were having a bad day, but the service was way below what I would have expected from the reviews given. As for the pizza I’ve had better from the half hour delivery chain. I have food allergies and cannot eat mushrooms. I am very careful when ordering if the menu includes mushrooms I explain no mushrooms and why. It was disappointing to get my pizza home only to open it and discover it was LOADED with mushrooms especially because the menu I ordered from did not include mushrooms in the ingredients. The pizza quickly found its way to the garbage. Needless to say I felt ripped off. Bottom line — first AND last time customer.

Compared blind onion in Reno this place is sorry. For how much you pay for a pizza and get barely half the toppings. Sorry excuse for a gourmet pizza. If I could post a picture of what a blind onion pizza should look like I would. But it won’t.

I had dinner here recently while passing through town. I wanted something different than the typical boring chain restaurants along I-80 and this definitely fit the bill. I had the Greek pizza which was excellent. The dough is obviously freshly made and is about as good as it gets. I also had a side salad that was good, but had a ton of diced cucumber. Seriously, I don’t know that I’ve ever had so much cucumber on a salad in my life. The one stumbling block was the young lady who took my order. I placed my order at 8:30 and she told me they close at 9 and since it would take 15 minutes to make my pizza, she asked if I’d like to go. No, eating a pizza in the car doesn’t sound like much fun. I got my pizza in about 15 minutes and at 8:53(I looked at my watch) she began putting up chairs at the tables around me. I definitely felt rushed and I understand they were getting ready to close, but still…

We where driving through the area and wanted to stop for lunch we read some of the Unilocal reviews. It is a combination Cold Stone ice cream, bar with coin op pool tables and about a 8 lane bowling ally. We ordered a large all meat. They said they could make an XL for added cost. We order side salads, Greek and Cesar. They were huge for being a side and both were good. Neat place with relaxed atmosphere. Staff was super friendly.

Great deal for two slices of pizza and huge soda($ 5) The dough was the best part, they let you customize two slices and bake it fresh. Awesome! You get 3 choices of toppings, I had spinach, cooked tomatoes and red onions.

I had the pleasure of dining at this establishment no too long ago. What a pleasant surprise. Pizza was nice and cheesy, Not too saucy which is the way I like it. Nice combination having pizza and a Cold Stone Ice-cream parlor right in the restaurant. I wil be back

What a pleasant surprise! This nondescript building holds a Coldstone Creamery, pizza joint, games area, and bowling alley!!! They also have a bar with a GREAT selection and serve food late! We happened to go on a half-off medium pizza night so paid virtually nothing for a filling and delicious breath buster pizza and $ 2 beers! The bartender was energetic and helpful and the pizza staff were friendly. A great place to people watch!

We had the Greek pizza and the Breath Buster. Dough is hand made, ingredients are fresh. Yummy! Bar and bowling alley next door are dive-y in the best way. Shock top on tap!

The service was friendly, but the wait time and food left something to be desired. We ordered over phone and they gave us a wait estimate of 25 minutes. 25 minutes later we arrived at the restaurant and all the food was ready, minus the hot wings, which took an extra 25 minutes. Upon arriving back at our hotel, the food was just ok. Nothing special, and they forgot the pesto on the pesto chips. To be fair, there was a little league party in the restaurant which seemed to have captured all their attention.

This is my favorite pizza place ever. The crust is awesome: chewy, thick and just delicious. They have a variety of unique pizzas on the menu, our favorite is the BBQ chicken. Their salads and dressings are also excellent. The ranch(and probably others, but we always get ranch) is homemade and very very good. They even added chipotle for my husband when he asked if they had anything with chipotle.

Passing thru town we just went here based on reviews. People there were very friendly. Girl recommended the Sicilian. Now that I’ve had it, I would too. It was very good! The bread they use on their sandwiches is really good too! Next time we’ll try one of the pizzas. TRYIT!

Great pizza, love the greek! Best crust… ever! My kids would never eat crust until Blind Onion, now I have to make sure they don’t steal mine. Great family place, pizza for dinner and ColdStone for dessert.

This Blind Onion has ruined me for all other Blind Onions. While living in Elko, this was THE place to get pizza(Eh to Pizza Barn). Forget that the tables can be sticky(they serve honey to dip your crust in…). Forget that the service can be slow. Forget that it’s attached to a bar with annoying patrons. Take your pizza to go and you’re golden! Ahh I miss my Blind Hawaiian with the BEST ranch! The Elko Blind Onion needs to school the Reno Blind Onions on how it’s done. While, this place is the best, 288 miles is too far to go for pizza.

Good pizza attached to a bowling alley. Pizza was good, not outstanding, but much better than your typical pizza place. Cold stone is inside and very good. Prices were reasonable.

Sept 13, 2014 Just a lil behind on writing review’s. The Blind Onion Pizza & Pub, Elko, NV My hubby and I travel thru all of Cali and NV, my hubby being from NY and me OK. We love pizza, especially NY style pizza. There was a wine walk going on in town on the night we ate there. Note: We were not participating in the wine walk. However we did check out several other places that night and everywhere we went we met different locals and the folks in this town are so nice and friendly! Back to the review… We sat at the bar… which got busy at times from the folks on the wine walk. And we still had great service! I won’t take the time to describe the place as you can read in other reviews. Small town… old building… loved the bar, the wood work it was beautiful and the ceiling was the old pressed tin. Oooo… if those walls could talk… lol The pizza was not NY style… however delicious! The wine was good, which was a pleasant surprise. We will be back! Needless to say… lol

The pizza here is good but the décor and environment are less than appealing. the bartenders are hit or miss. On one occasion I came here and asked for a Fat Tire assuming they had it since there was a Fat Tire neon light hanging right above the bar. The girl looked at me like I was crazy and said they didn’t carry it. Then I looked and the taps and of course, it was right there smack in the middle. Then on another occasion I ordered a margarita and it was actually pretty good(I’m damn picky about my margaritas). The place isn’t high class by any means and it has a smokey musty smell but if you just want to drink and eat pizza and don’t care about anything else, well then, The Blind Onion isn’t that bad. I can’t speak for the bowling alley since I’ve never been.

Yes, the pizza here’s amazing, as evidenced by our coming back for yet a 2nd night on this Elko visit. The Greek pizza is RIDICULOUSLY good and the crust is fresh and absolutely delicious. We had half of it the All-Meat and it was fantastic too. Their cheese blend is great! Coming from the Bay Area of California, we’ve had a lotta great pizza in places like Berkeley and SF, and this place EASILY ranks right up there with em. Sadly, they don’t deliver…
