You have to love small town bakeries… During a recent funeral /trout fising trip, I popped in and purchased several items — pumpkin doughnuts, a peanut butter cookie, and a 2 lb fruitcake.
The pumpkin doughnuts and cookie were quite good — perhaps four stars. The fruitcake was incredible with that old world taste. It was easily «as good as it gets.»
With each trip I try to see something new and take a memory with for the next time I’m passing through. This bakery made a great impression and I look forward to returning. What a treasure in a very charming small town!
