Sweet P’s Ice Cream & Candy

No longer exists. Closed a couple of years ago, but nice while it lasted. Now Blue Egg Bakery and Sweets. Great place, too, but no ice cream!

Well, I really wanted to check this place out since it looked so cute and I wanted to purchase some chocolates for Christmas (and also try out the ice cream everyone’s raving about). Unfortunately, after checking their Facebook page for the business hours and confirming that they were open on the day and time I was going, I got there and they were closed. Looked at the hours on the door… they aren’t even open Monday-​Wednesday! I’m sorry but if you can’t even keep your Facebook page updated/​correct and if you aren’t going to be open during regular, weekday business hours then you are not going to have my business. Also, I’m pretty pissed that I drove 30 minutes out of my way only to find that I wasted my time and gas.
I will be getting my Christmas gifts elsewhere.

Great little ice cream shop.
They make their own ice cream – flavors change weekly so it’s fun to try something different every time.
Also have candy, but your typical, gas station kind of candy.
Prices are decent – free samples!

This place is so awesome — the nostalgia of it really makes you want to be a kid again.
The ice cream is delicious and love the variety of flavors. The smell when you walk in is to die for! SO YUMMY!
Great addition to Main Street Elk River — so happy to see it!
