Worst haircut my son has ever had for a combover taper fade, I would not come to this place for a combover with a sharp line, the fade was terrible and the line wasn’t even. The only guy that works there cut his hair. My son will be wearing a hat for a month.

No more home perms for me! I could not handle the tangled frizzy mess anymore. I walk in to Silk Cuts to see if they could help me before I cut it off myself :(Eva suggested a straightener and layers. I was willing to do anything. After some pulls and tugs to apply the straightener my hair came out smoother and silkier than it’s ever been. I’m soooo impressed, not just with my hair; the price too. Thank you Eva! Customer for life

The outside is a little off putting. It looks like a run down barber shop, but I was pleasantly surprised. They did a really good job on my boys’ hair cuts. The guy that did my younger son’s hair really knows how to do a fade right. My boyfriend’s step dad comes here all of the time and recommended them to us. We didn’t have to wait long at all. They took their time and did the cuts right. The hair cuts weren’t incredibly expensive. Definitely worth the money. Be warned: bring cash as they have an additional fee to run debit or credit.

I have beautiful, healthy long hair down to my butt. I’ve been to expensive salons most of my life, and thanks to my mom’s suggestion, I tried Amrit. I cannot believe I can get the best haircut I’ve ever had for $ 12! I’ve gone to her at least 8 times, and never disappointed once. I usually white knuckle the chair when getting a trim, but not anymore with her THANK GOD!
Only thing I can complain about is that I recently moved to Vacaville, and she does not work on my days off. So now I’m stuck trying new people :(…

Ive been coming here since I was 16 years old…32 now and Evonne has always cut my hair. I’m picky and she’s always taken the time to be detailed. She’s a master with the clippers! This place isn’t the newest and cleanest place but they do a great job!!! You have to try it!

This place is a little hidden gem. It is tucked away behind Taco Bell. I always get a lot of compliments when I get a fresh cut from this salon. If you want to get a good fade, ask for Evonne. She makes sure all her cuts are clean and precise without any loose ends. She’s very nice and friendly. To be honest, the entire crew are. You pay for great quality haircut and exceptional service.

One of the best places to get a haircut! If you want a good haircut for an affordable price, this place is the way to go! I recommend Linda if you want to go get your haircut or colored hair. She does a fantastic job, and she is super friendly! It’s a great environment & staff. Definitely 5 stars for customer service & cut!

My husband has been going to Sam since 1988. My father-​in-​law, who lives in Stockton, still goes to Sam and now my 4-​year old thinks that no one is allowed to cut hi hair except Sam. I am writing this review based on my husband and son’s experience as well as my interactions with the staff. Sam has a rough exterior, but he’s a cool guy and my husband and son love his work and will continue to go to Silk Cuts. The other stylist are very friendly and during the weekends, they are all crazy busy. The first time I went there on a Saturday morning, I was shocked at the traffic in and out their door and at every stylist’s station, but that told me that they all did great work.

I gave this 5 stars because of the people and their ability to do their job. The owner is a little rude and obnoxious. Linda, Amrit and Yvonne are great at what they do! The owner Sam apparently does a good job. He just needs to work on his customer service skills.

Coming from a guy who has a ZERO high fade, this place passes the test. I can’t tell u how many bad haircuts I’ve gotten because of my style. Sam and Evonne both do great jobs. I like this place because the price is cool and there usually is min wait time.

Well The best guy there is SAM he cuts hair there by far the best. He’s a little rough on your head cause he’s talking and answering phone, But his cuts are so Superb and the Best Cut you’ll get in Elk Grove. The only thing I don’t Like is that he doesn’t like Homosexuals so if your easily offended by someone’s remarks DON’T Go to him. Take your money somewhere else !
