Round Table Pizza

I am not one to review chain restaurants, but this particular location deserved my extra attention. I LOVE Round Table pizza. I worked at the Calvine location during high school and know how fresh the ingredients are. With that being said…
This location in particular does not live up to the Round Table standard. We went here only because of the convenience, but after our last experience, we are NEVER coming back here again.
Customer service here is horrible and the presentation of the pizza is nothing to write home about. The dough here tastes like 4 day old bread. I personally would eat a Little Caesar pizza over the pizza made at this location.
Save your money and get a pizza somewhere else. I would rather drive across town and waste an hour of my time then to come here out of convenience. This spot is boo boo.

We usually love this pizza but today not so much. My son won’t eat it because it’s burnt. I tasted it and it tastes burnt. Ewwwww!!!

Got here at 6:04 pm with a really short break from class. I asked and Jennifer told me it would take 8 minutes for our order. From the time on my receipt to when we actually got it was 25 minutes. Don’t quote a customer an approximate time if it is no where accurate. Plus as I was waiting for my order, I watched a kid playing with the food in the salad bar with no employees stopping him.

Ordered a medium pizza online for pick up at 6:51 pm and 30 minutes later I’m still waiting here it’s still not ready! Major fail! The only good thing about my visit was the cashier who kept on checking on the pizza and seemed genuinely seemed concerned on our order. Definitely will not be coming back.

I love Round Table Pizza. Literally the pizza is my favorite. This particular Round table pizza has terrible service. I ordered my pizza at 6:31pm online. My receipt said that my pizza would be ready at 6:51pm. My wife arrived at Round Table Pizza to pick it up at 6:55pm. The employee told her it would be another 5 minutes. My wife waited 10 minutes and the employee told her that it would take another 10 minutes, with no explanation.
From now on whenever we want pizza, we will drive a little farther to the Laguna location.

Good customer service and the pizza is good for a chain. I usually order the King Arthur Supreme. This is my go to place for pizza because it’s close to my house.

Nice, clean, and large area for round table. Jennifer was our server and she was a delight. Extremely nice employees.

Went to this location for dine in. The staff was nice but unprepared for opening night of football season seeing how it was extremely busy. We purchased drinks over $ 2 but wasnt informed they didnt have ice. The staff knew already and had been out for awhile already. Other customers were complaining and upset. They finally sent an employee to walmart which is across the street. It took almost an hour for them to get ice very annoying to pay for a drink and its not even cold. They knew for at least 2 hours they didnt have ice and failed to fix the problem. I wouldnt have purchased a drink if i was informed they didnt have ice. I will not be returning to this location for dine in any time soon. They also had high schools kids just hanging out making lots of noise and being obnoxious. It also made the place look ghetto and not like a family environment which it should be.

Fast and great delivery service… they usually quote us the 45 min to delivery norm… but they end up ringing our door bell within 20 min! If they make a mistake they go back and fix it and come back with a smile… they are very friendly and have good costumer service!

Pizza is good. Cleanliness is not so good. There was food all over the floor, and the salad bar was a mess. Also, if you get cold easily, make sure you bring a thick sweatshirt. It’s FREEZING in there! AC is cranking!

Very rude customer service. I understand that you may close at 10pm but when you have patrons that have paid for their meals and enjoying family time it is wrong to walk over and tell them that you are closed and you are going to need them to pack up and leave. Maybe that expectation should have been communicated when they first entered the restaurant. That would have given them the opportunity to decide if they wanted to spend their hard earned money. Elijah was very rude indeed. Customer service at its worst.

I’m glad I ignored the bad Unilocal reviews. I figured it’s kind of hard to screw up a to-​go order for pizza, so I wasn’t really worried about the customer service. HOWEVER, I found the employees to be completely hard working, helpful people. I saw all kinds of employees running around behind the scenes. The place just opened at 11am, they were already getting slammed, and they were handling it. It’s extremely clean. The TVs aren’t too loud. The salad bar has all kinds of items. I was a happy camper. I’ll be back.

Bad customer service good pizza. Dumb blonde with pink lips called my order and looked me in my eye turned around to talk to another employee. I had to interrupt her conversation and ask for my pizza. 4 tables I went to sit at were dirty

Pizza is still great here as I described in my previous post. But the previous time I came, a bunch of tables weren’t cleaned. We had to move trash from the least dirtiest table onto another dirty table. Ordering it to go instead of eating there is the way to go.

Ordered the new artisan… no mozzarella cheese chunks like they show and no fresh basil! Never again its always a disappointment!

Due to no ice for soda. You have to have soda with pizza and it definitely needs to be cold.

Close to the house and love that they have good quality pizza and monthly specials. In my opinion they are the best fast food style pizza around although are definitely more pricey.
My favorite is the Maui Zaui. and their combo and veggies minus those nasty little things called mushrooms!

I love the pizza at round table. Love the sauce, and the cheese blend is like no other I have ever tasted. I always order my favorite, vegetarian with no onions, no peppers, add artichoke hearts. Sometimes I order anchovies on the side. I also have ranch dressing at home if I want to add it. Sounds yummy doesn’t it?
I have been eating at Round Table since I was a child. Parents were blue collar workers and it was a treat, once a month, to go out to Round Table with them and my siblings. Pizza good then, pizza good now.
Downside: $$$$$$. Very pricey.

Ordered pizza for delivery.
Round table is right down the street from me and as I had committed to staying in bed all day, delivery seemed like a good choice. Ordered on the phone and was told it would take around 45 mins. Pizza was here in about 25, so I wasn’t complaining. Delivery fee was small and I had a $ 5 off coupon. We all know discounts are always nice.
Pizza was good. Can’t really complain about round table. I’ve ordered for delivery and eaten here on several occasions and have rarely had issues with the pizza itself.

Round Table Pizza has always been my FAV!
Over the years, usually at the request of my mate at the time I have tried pizza from different parlors. Pizza Guys isn’t bad and the price is very fair at around $ 20 for the ultimate. Still, Round Table I believe makes far and away the best tasting pizza. The only parlor that ever came close as far as I was concerned was a small local chain, Shakey’s Pizza, gone now, only a fond memory.
However, like Round Table as much as I do, they are pricing themselves out of the market. I am usually a double pepperoni guy but saw the advertisement for the maui pizza and it is surprisingly fabulous! No more pepperoni for me, my taste buds are screaming out for variety! And to think I used to say, «Pineapple on pizza? Has the whole world gone mad?» Now I love it!
Anyway, best pizza I have ever had and I am always loyal, however, Round Table, you have priced yourselves out of the market. My last 3 – 4 pizza orders, large Maui’s with soda and pepperoni are getting close to $ 40.00 orders, it is only pizza! I had a friend who owned a parlor, private owned and he used to brag about the mark-​up and he was 30% cheaper than Round Table.
And of course… «No coke, pepsi» Does Pepsi own Round Table too! I know they had to buy Taco Bell and Kentucky Fried Chicken because everybody else preferred Coca-​Cola products during the cola wars.
So, we have to part ways, not because of the pizza, it is fabulous but I believe someone else can do the same for considerably less. In fact, I looked here on Unilocal and both Lamp Post and New York Pizza in Elk Grove are rated higher and cost considerably less…
By for now Round Table, I am gonna try New York Pizza today and probably Lamp Post next week.
