I am in the process of finding child care for our 8 month old. I called the Radcliffe Academy to inquire if they have any openings for infants. The person who answered could not answer my question so I was transferred to someone else. At first that person was polite and told me that indeed they had openings for an infant. I then proceeded to ask about price and hours and was answered accordingly. Once I started asking questions about teacher child ratio, the answer I got was, «Why do you want to know that» I replied that I wanted to know how many other infants were enrolled compared to providers and if my question was out of line. I was told that if I wanted my questions answered I need to come in and then was hung up on. I immediately called back to speak to the person who hung up on me but was informed that she was busy and could not come to the phone. I spoke to a director there and was informed that the person was just a volunteer, and if I would like to come and visit the facility they could answer all of my questions.
After this exchange, I think not.
