Quest Diagnostics and Mercy Medical Group — Dignity Health work in perfect harmony to give its patients the best care possible! Usually 2 weeks prior to my Doctors appointment, I have to have blood drawn for lab work. Living in Elk Grove, California, I have a choice of 2 different Labs to have my blood drawn. Both are Quest Diagnostics. The first one is in the new Dignity Health Medical Plaza at 8220 Wymark Drive in Elk Grove Calif. The second one that I prefer to go to is the one at 9394 Big Horn Blvd inside the Mercy Medical Group building.
The main reason I prefer coming to this office on Big Horn Blvd. is because it seems less busy ! For example: Today I arrived at this office at 7:15 this morning. After registering and having my blood drawn, I was out of there around 7:30. Just the way uh-​huh uh-​huh I like it ! In and out !
There is plenty of parking ! The staff is alway friendly and very professional. Emily P. was my phlebotomist today. She did a fantastic job in drawing my blood. I barely felt the prick of the needle and I was done in no time at all. Way to go Emily !
There are so many variables that determines ones experience. l How busy it is? What day you come, and the time you arrive. But for me today, I couldn’t have been happier ! Whenever I need blood drawn in the future, this Quest Diagnostics office is my first choice!

I’ve had my blood drawn here several times. One time I think they forgot me but luckily we were in no hurry. The last time I waltzed right in like I had an appointment that there literally was no wait!
The last couple times Steph drew my blood and it rarely hurt plus he will talk to you and make you forget that’s what you’re there for!
Thank goodness for experienced phlebotomists! They will make sure your tubes are labeled with your correct name and everything or else you will need to go back for another blood draw and who wants that??? Go there with confidence but I’d be hesitant to go on a Monday or Friday for obvious reasons!
