Excellent place for beer and pizza!
Drinks: Great and many beer selections! Many local beers to choose from. Few wine selections. No liquor of any kinds.
Service: Very friendly servers who know their beers. Service was fast everytime we came. Self serve on soft drinks.
Food: Love it — from appetizers to pizza. We had the parmesan bread sticks which were served with marinara sauce. These soft twisty bread sticks are worth a try. A must try are the blue cheese fries! The blue cheese fries were topped with warm blue cheese and chilli flakes — a perfect blend! The hot wings were tasty too.
We also had their Chuck Norris and who you calling chicken pizza. We love it! Their mushroom mayhem and OTP (combination) are also tasty.
My family love this place especially with their wifi!
A must visit place! Also very kid friendly!
An improvement would be more tv screens…

Pros: Delicious pizza, knowledgeable and helpful bartenders, no table service so that you can play Bananagrams for as long as you want… Cons: I don’t see you here now, where you at?

We had another family gathering at Old Town Pizza, Why? Because, not only do they have the Best Pizza and tons of great beers on tap, they have The Best Service! Jaime and Jenn truly make our family feel at home when we are there. These two make an effort to get to know their customers and make sure your time at OTP is a great experience. I always look forward to having our special family gatherings at Old Town Pizza. The Chuck Norris pizza is to die for!!! Even their salads are yummy. I wish I could give them 10 stars! I’m looking forward to our next family gathering at Old Town Pizza!

They are 2 miles away and we were out of their delivery range… what is that…2 miles? What is their range…2 blocks? Too bad… was going to order 100 dollars worth of food… If you advertise delivery. …that is what you should do… just sayin. Many more pizza shops around

I’ll save you the trouble of what to do, bring some friends and order a couple pitchers of delicious beer and an order or two of PACO FRIES! and I promise you will not be disappointed. Have visitors from out of town? This is the place to bring them. Friendly service, consistently good beer and food in a nice atmosphere. I do wish they stayed open later on the weekends. That’s my only complaint.

Came here for the second time a couple nights ago. I love that it is a local old style pizza parlor. I love the dim lighted atmosphere. Very cool old booths gives it a great feel.
The pizza here isn’t the absolute best I have had but it is well done. Both times I have been here I got the OTP works pizza. Comes with Sausage, pepperoni, tomato, onions, mushrooms olives, pepperoncini’s. I love the flavor of this pizza. The crust is pretty well done. I also got the «OTP in the house salad.» I am a sucker for a great side salad and this salad more than makes the cut! It is fresh and crisp. It has great fixins in it (olives, feta cheese, onions, pepperoncini’s, croutons).
The first time I came here a few months ago there was almost nobody in the place on a sat afternoon. It took longer than I would like for the pizza to come out. Fast forward to couple nights ago which was a Friday evening around 7. The place was full. It took over an hour for us to get our pizza. Way too long in my opinion. I realize it was busy but I don’t feel like we should have to wait that long to get a pizza. That is the reason I am dropping it a star.
Overall? Like this place a lot. Not many cool local pizza parlors left. I forgot to mention they have lots of craft beers on tap. I don’t drink but if you are into that, they have it.

Love it. Cool pizza place that has a good selection of local and imported beers. Love that the beers change up and it’s actually pretty family friendly. It is small so not sure how it works if you have a large party. It may or not be your thing, but you can always order pizza for pick up and they have a limited delivery area.
We love the pizzas, made to order and comes out hot hot hot! You will burn your chin with melted stringy cheese!
The only thing we didn’t like so far was the angry swine, very salty. Maybe if they used pork belly or some other type of smoked bacon that isn’t so salty it would be better. But other than that, highly recommend.

Went in and the place was busy… Found a table pretty fast though.
We ended up ordering a house salad, paco loaded fries and the all meat combo pizza.
Didn’t take long for our salad and fries to come out!
The salad was HUGE and very good!
Enough for 3 people to share!
Fries where to die for… Loaded with bacon and cheese!
It was huge also!
Then came the pizza! Did not disappoint … Huge!
Loads of cheese and toppings!
Meatballs on top where a plus! Crust was super good!
All in all we are super happy with the food, service and value!
Portions are huge!!!
We will defiantly be back if we are ever out this way again!!!

Best pizza I have had in such a long time. The mushroom mayhem was amazing! The wings were nice and big! Had a nice kick to them! Staff was very attentive! It was packed on a Friday night! But what can you expect at a popular pizza place on a weekend night? I will definitely be returning! Thank you for fulfilling my pizza craving.

We came here on Valentine’s Day. They have a nice selection of craft beers on tap. My husband ordered the Track 7 Left Eye Right Eye and me a cider. Both were very good and filled to the top of the glass. Sadly we didn’t try any of their specialty fries. We ordered a sm-​med (cant remember) half&half of OTP Works and the Mediterranean. It was cooked to perfection! Everyone working there was nice and i think the owner also asked my husband how everything was and made sure we enjoyed it. Another plus, they have a jukebox, tv’s, and a couple arcade games. Place was not too busy. Overall we had a good time there and will definitely be back one day.

So upon my searching of Unilocal for something to eat in Elk Grove, I came across some photos from this joint that caught my eye… The Ballast Point Brewery Tap Takeover!!!
Now, mind you the picture was 10 months old, so my hopes were not set too high on finding a pot of gold when I reached the end of the rainbow.
I pop in, during my «working» lunch break too find the joint slammed! (Good sign). I approach the bar and find out that was only the one time event but their taps constantly change with craft beers.
Cool, I figure to go back later that evening too watch the ESPN basketball game with my coworker and grap some wings, pizza and try the taps.
Once we Über’d back to the establishment it had settled down since earlier and were able to sit at the bar and were taken care of by who I find out later to be the owner (forgot her name), whom was very attentive and sociable!
I ordered the buffalo wings (½ order = 6 wings $ 7) their Tune In Tune Out Veg Out veggie pizza (8″= 6 slices $ 7.5) and a Ballast Point Wahoo White. ($ 5)
Wings had the perfect kick and were cooked perfectly, to where the meat fell off the bone and you didn’t have to work extra on them.
Pizza was loaded and I mean loaded with the toppings (thank the cook). I was only able to take down two slices.
Atmosphere has the local hangout feel with the food and beer selection to match! Couple of video games to entertain the kids and juke box for your choice of tunes!!!

It was not what I expected when I walked in; I was expecting a more gourmet feeling and was nicely surprised with an old school warm feeling. The service was great from my ordering, the guy taking my order could tell it was my first time there and he said I had to have the Paco Fries; he was right about that and I am extra thankful for it.
The Pizza was some of the best I had in a while and the wide selection of beers was an extra plus to earn five star plus status.

Having friends that live in the Elk Grove area we came to Old Town Pizza & Tap House after spending a bit of time on Unilocal.We figured we’d head over for an early dinner (6pm) on a Saturday and sure glad we did. Almost immediately after we came, the place got packed!
This is no fancy place by any means. You order at the cash register and they bring your food to the table. The staff is quite hospitable and they come and remove plates in a timely manner. They have a decent selection of beers and while I didn’t see it my friends said they all were on the «hoppier» side which is a thumbs up from me.
Parking is plentiful as most of the shops in shopping center were closed by the time we arrive. I’m not sure that we’d come back to this place next time we’re in the area but to try it once gets two thumbs up!

My friends have been telling me about this place, so we stopped by for food and drinks on a Saturday night. This joint is not that big, but it wasn’t busy anyway.
They have a good amount of craft beers on tap. The server was friendly and gave me a couple tasters before I got a pitcher.
As for the food, we had the:
Mushroom Mayhem Pizza: ⁴⁄₅ — Had a good amount of truffle oil on it (which was awesome). Very cheesy, cornmeal crusted, with a rich, tasty flavor.
Paco Fries: ³⁄₅ — It had tons of bacon and cheese on it. Perfect to share with a group. Very salty. Don’t eat this without an IPA on tap.
Blue Cheese Fries: ⁵⁄₅ — These fries were on point. A must-​order for those who like blue cheese since they load it up without it being too overwhelming.
Cheesy Garlic Breadsticks: ²⁄₅ — Nothing special here. Came with a side of marinara. Your typical garlic bread.
THEY DO NOT SKIMP ON ANYTHING. Expect a lot of toppings on everything you order. Also, expect to gain a few pounds.

Pizza isn’t something I crave, but I’ve had this bookmarked for a while and wanted to check it off my list. When my friend and I walked in, we weren’t sure if we were supposed to wait to be seated. We went up to the bar and saw a sign that told us to order and pay there. We ordered the Paco Fries (blue cheese fries with roasted garlic, bacon, parmesan, wing sauce) and Mushroom Mayhem pizza (truffle oil, garlic, rosemary, spinach, button, Portobello).
The food was delicious! They didn’t skimp on the blue cheese or bacon for the Paco fries. It was heavy though and best if you have a couple of people sharing it. After a few bites, I wanted a salad. I’m interested in trying their other specialty fries next time– The Windsor Fries with sweet potato fries and chicken or the Jorge Fries with nacho cheese and jalapenos. As for our brick oven pizza, I could already smell the truffle oil when they bought it out to us. I mean that as a good thing. I loved all the ingredients and the slices of Portobello artfully placed on every slice.
The place got busy as we finished up our meal. The place is also a tap house, so it’s a great place to catch a game of football while drinking with your buddies as I saw people who came in do. Even if you’re not one to catch the game, it’s a great place for all.

My new go to place for pizza in Elk Grove. When you come here once, you can never go back to other pizza restaurants.
I live 10 minutes away so I usually call them ahead of time so I can indulge in the pizza shamelessly at home. I usually order half Chuck Norris and half BBQ. The chuck norris is your standard meat lovers pizza and the BBQ is your chicken bbq pizza. Both are extremely delicious and that’s coming from a person that isn’t a huge fan of pizza. It takes them 30 – 45 minutes to make so if you’re in a rush, don’t come here.
The staff are friendly and chill. I haven’t ordered any alcoholic beverages from their bar but they seem very knowledgable about everything. They also have darts to play!
I will probably come back here again when someone in my household is craving for pizza.

Wow i thought pizza bell was the best pizza in town until i stumbled upon this place by accident because my girlfriend is a beer enthusiast lol. We ordered the bbq chicken and omg! Its like an explosion of flavor. Its like sweet and flavorful meaty– i love it! Will be back for sure. I need to try the other flavors.

Great hometown pizza place that actually has some great tasting pizza! It’s not your common chain pizza stop, as you can tell they actually care about you as there neighbor.
Walk in, walk up to the bar, take a look and order. There’s tons of pizza choices along with beers on tap. I always appreciate places that allow you to sample a beer if you’re unsure, and they do this without hesitation.
It gets packed here on sports days FYI, so plan ahead and don’t get upset when their packed. This just solidifies how good they are! On a side note, I live in the Laguna area and will drive here all the time for the great pizza! If you think about expanding, come over to the I5 side of Elk Grove. You will be welcomed with open arms.
