I do not shop much but when I do, I noticed the type of service I get from different workers. Today, I walked in looking for a sport bra and a very nice lady name Barbara approached me to offer her assistant. She is a matured 45+ yr old employee. She helped me search for a second bra because it was buy one get 2^nd one for half. The younger employee told Barbara that they do not have any more and that was the only one at the store. The young worker didn’t even bothered to look it up in the computer nor did she went to check the back stockroom. Barbara went to search and she found me a 2^nd one. This place is a great place to shop for plus sizes clothes and the best services came from Barbara (the matured and experienced gal). Thank you, Barbara! You are a gem and I hope to see you again!!!

Here for first time and Jenny met me at the door with a smile and gave me a tour of the store helped me find everything and she was amazing. I felt like a celebrity in here they are awesone

I went to buy new bras today and I was helped by a very friendly lady who worked there named Barbara. She gave me EXCELLENT customer service. She helped me from when I walked in the door until I left.

This store sells anything from clothing, scarfs, flip flops, to bras and underwear!!!
It’s really for full figured women. It can get pricey, but if you need it… YOU NEED IT!!!
I’ve been here a few times now. As you walk in… all their clothing line is neatly displayed! They have some great looking shirts! There’s always someone to greet you as you walk in. I feel bad for them because it looks like they’re continuously refolding after messy people.
This place is great. If you haven’t been measured for a bra lately, they can help! The have all the great 411 on the latest line.
They have this fantastic sports bra. It REALLY gives you full support. I love it. Sooooo comfy. One downfall. It supports you sooooo well that I cannot put it on by myself! Hehehehehe!!! If you’re alone… you’re out of luck!
There are several others that I like that I am able to do by myself! Thank the Lord!!!
Every single time I’ve come in here they’ve had the «Buy one and half off the second one» deal going on!
Overall, for me, this place is great! All sales ladies have been super friendly. Minus a star on the company itself. All their crazy points system for discounts require opening a company credit card! I do not care to own a credit card for any store! If they truly cared for their customers they would establish a simply rewards card! (like the grocery stores have!)

I feel like the reviewers here went to a different Lane Bryant than the one I frequent. I bought all of my X Mas presents for my mom and lady friends here and some quality bras all at 50% off during Black Friday. I had an issue with two bras and returned them with no problem. The clerk even sent one to my house because they didn’t have it in stock. I am also non white, and have never felt any hint of prejudice from Any clerk. Also, I am a smaller size. And although some other customers look me up and down sometimes when I am in the store, the clerks are nothing but super professional and nice to me. Their bras are great for boxom ladies… better than Victoria secret or other brands that cater to these sizes. And super economical. Thanks, lane Bryant! Elk Grove.

Literally just walked out rather than spend money here. Bad experience with a return (I was well within the timeframe but employee basically said I was lying about issue with pants. Not pleasant nor was it true. I was within the timeframe, I don’t need to lie to achieve anything.) I agree with comments on customer service. I interacted with Jenny. I don’t think corporate cares enough to respond or to just change employee culture. I won’t be returning here as there are alternatives with no lingering aftertaste of low level bitchery.

My experience here was not a pleasant one. I was very polite and friendly even smiled after my purchase but the cashier at the register did not do the same. How is it possible that a customer would have better customer service than the cashier who actually gets paid for working at the store? There’s a part of me that felt like the cashier was judging how I look and treated differently because I wasn’t Caucasian. I definitely don’t recommend anyone going to this store unless you really really really have to and prepare yourself for bad customer service.

I received an email from Lane Bryant how everything in the Store was going to be 50 percent off. 50 percent off, I am there. I went and bought a couple of shirts, and they were having a clearance sale for some of their jewelry. I was so excited because there was this beautiful pair of citrine earrings that I had been eyeing but did not want to spend a lot of money on it. I go there on the 15^th, the day after Valentine’s day and was able to get the same earrings for 5 dollars. Needless to say, I was very happy buying some Valentine’s day gifts for myself because no one else is going to do it for me. I have never encountered any rude customer service personnel. They all have been very friendly and helpful. Of course, I feel like their clothes are expensive and that is why I do not really buy anything from here unless I have a coupon or if they are having a sale.

The manager at this store is a very rude and unprofessional. I go in there a lot and spend a lot of money because I like their clothes but after today I REFUSE to go back to this store. I returned clothes the manager first tried to talk me out of it and make me try on the pants then asked me if I was lying about wearing an 18 when I really wear a 16 then was rude and basically threw my money at me and didn’t give me a recepit back for the shorts I did keep. Everyone else is very nice but excuse my French I’m done dealing with that rude bitch.

Their customer service is so bad at this store I cant even begin to explain. Ive had to make multiple complaints to corporate and to the managers but nothing seems to change. I agree with the other review that said the wait time to check out is usually horrendous. I honestly dont even shop here anymore except to have items delivered from the website or
so I can get free shipping. I’ve had numerous problems with that as well. One was that the wrong item was shipped and the store basically told me to go screw myself and refused to help me, it was resolved over the phone with corporate. Today it was 100% the stores fault again because they did not check an item in I had been waiting for. I called fashionbug first to confirm it was delivered and it was a week ago. I called to make sure they could find it before I drove over and explained that I never got the email that said it was in. The employee that answered the phone was incredibly snarky and said that they probably hadnt received it yet. of course she didnt let me finish what I was saying.
I think I will start having my orders delivered to Catherines next door or even the store that is out of my way to go to on my way home from work just so I can avoid this store.

I shop here sometimes because the store is close by and their bras fit me and are reasonably priced. However, about three times out of five, I pick out what I want and then I wait at the register. And wait. And wait. And then I get tired of waiting and I walk out without getting what I needed because I actually have other things to do throughout the day.
Either the register systems at Lane Bryant are the slowest possible registers available in America, or the management hires its clerks based solely on their ability to leave no conversational stone left unturned with the person at the counter.
I’d only recommend stopping by if you have a solid 20 minutes to stand around listening to people trade life stories before you’re able to purchase the product you need.
