Dr. Amy holds a Doctoral degree in audiology (Au.D.) and possess the highest level of professional expertise. Extremely personal and caring, she listens to patients and skillfully explains their test results and treatment recommendations.
Dr. Amy does NOT «sell» hearing aids. I sought her services for problems relating to auditory discrimination problems. I received a complete and thorough examination and testing, then Dr. Amy (through the use of computer screens and visuals) explained the results and educated me on the genesis of my problems.
At the conclusion of my visit, I understood my hearing issues and felt very confident in Dr. Amy’s recommendations. I DID not walk out with hearing aids (because they would not have helped at this time), but I will see Dr. Amy again in a year for another examination.
As a health care professional myself, I know when clinicians have sound clinical skills and judgment, as well as when they place the patient’s care above their own practice income. I trust Dr. Amy and I highly recommend her for professional auditory care.

I am a nurse, & have been wearing hearing aids for over 15 years, & just recently purchased my 3^rd pair. I’ve only been here twice but both times were fantastic. I’m only 27 and I have hearing loss in one ear due to a long string of medical problems and I wasn’t exactly excited that I needed a hearing aid. However, Doctor Amy is super sweet, very understanding, and makes me feel very comfortable. She talks to me like a friend instead of just another patient and I really appreciate that. Isaac is also really nice and I like to see him too. I have very bad social anxiety but because of these two I feel very comfortable there and cared for. They very obviously love their job and that’s another great reason to go here. I’d recommend Elk Grove Hearing Care to anyone.

My husband has worn hearing aids for more than 15 years — tho he complained about them continually and they spent as much time in his pocket and dresser drawers than in his ears. What a difference Elk Grove Hearing Care has made. This office spent real time“hearing“his reasons and problems and making adjustments to the aids.
