Powerhouse Restoration

These guys are lifesavers. and I’m sorry for my delay in writing a review. I arrived at my business a few months ago to find a busted water pump and water pouring in. Not able to turn the water off, we quickly googled «disaster cleanup». They arrived within 30 minutes. Turned off the water. Took pictures and videos of the damage for the insurance company. Shortly after a crew of about 15 came in to clear out the water. The owner showed up to talk to me about the care that needs to be taken with water to avoid future issues down the line and advised complete demolition of the hardwood floors and the drywall and baseboard 3 feet up throughout the unit. Since it is my business, re-​opening asap is priority. They had me back up and running within 2 weeks and everything was brand new. clients couldn’t even tell something had happened. They also had my peace of mind, as they maintained a website with daily updates on progress as it was not feasible for me to be there daily. I hope no one ever needs them. but if a disaster crosses your path. these are your guys!

My condo received major water damage from a water heater that broke two floors above me. My insurance company referred me to Powerhouse for the remediation process (tearing out the walls and floors to dry everything). I was a little skeptical at first, as I did not see any Unilocal reviews about them. When I met with Glen (owner) and Chris (PM) I felt better. They are really down-​to-​earth guys. The remediation process (gutted half the unit) went quickly, and they appeared to do a great job, so I decided to stick with them for the reconstruction. They worked really efficiently with my insurance company, State Farm (who was also awesome during this process), to scope out the reconstruction. Once the scope was agreed upon, they began the reconstruction phase immediately. They were able to complete the reconstruction in less than two weeks (one month for the remediation and reconstruction) which was a huge relief, after reading all the horror stories about general contractors online. Also, they helped me rewire my speakers/​electrical outlets and gave me a number of additional perks. I think I actually made out on this process, as my place looks much better than it did before the damage. I cannot say enough about the quality of customer service I received throughout this process. It is very rare to receive quality customer service these days, and Powerhouse blew my expectations away. I would highly recommend Powerhouse to any of my friends or family.
