It was the second cheapest hotel option I found so I didn’t set my bar too high. That said, it was kind of worse than I’d imagined. I’d asked for a non-smoking room, which I got, but the lobby and hallway reeked of smoke to the point I was gagging before entering the room. Once I got a bit away from the door, the room itself didn’t stink, but every time I left the room I pretty much had to plug my nose and pray that my clothes wouldn’t retain the stench. I was surprised that there was no elevator to the second floor. Personally I don’t need one, but I imagined my less mobile parents climbing the stairs with their bags and shuddered. The room was relatively clean except for blackishness at the bottom of the shower curtain. No thanks. I passed the Continental Breakfast(which one is supposed to eat in the tiny lobby that smells like a smoky pool hall) on the way out and it was pretty sad looking. That said, the staff were friendly, if a bit sluggish looking. So, if you just need a place to sleep, it’s one of the cheapest options in the area. But if you’re looking for ambiance, this is not the place.

Really clean and great service for the price. You can’t expext 5 star rooms for these prices. People need to understand that when they write reviews.

Pretty terrible. I’m not picky about a place to crash for the night but if I ever have occasion to be in Elizabethtown again I’ll stay somewhere else. The heater was shoddy and I was glad to get out early the next morning. All I gotta say is there was a skid mark in the terlet and it wasn’t one of mine.

This is the nastiest place I have ever stayed. The room smelled of mold and urine. We tried almost every oder killing product that Wal-Mart had available and nothing helped. It felt like the air was toxic and my husband and I both got sick. There was so much moisture in the room, our bedding and such felt damp to the touch. The«Continental Breakfast» is a joke. Options of Cheerios or a banana. And the lobby had about six chairs to sit at to eat. The pool was closed, probably due to contamination. I’m almost positive no maintenance of any kind had been performed since about 1985. Needless to say, we switched hotels as fast as we could.
