My Dad got stranded on I-​65 and was towed to John Ray and Sons on Friday of Labor Day weekend. They did an excellent job of diagnosis on Friday night and had it fixed before noon the next day; on a holiday weekend! Great price and service! Very nice family. Highly recommend especially those running between Louisville and the lakes.

Having a seriously difficult time finding someone who would repair my vehicle without ripping me off was thorny. I come upon this small family owned business where the father (John) and one of sons (Jeff) manage fixing automobiles, while the mother/​wife (Angie) sets the appointments and such. This is by far the best place I have ever come upon to have them fix my automobile. They are reasonably priced, and they don’t nickle and dime you. They also go above and beyond the call of duty! 11/​11/​2011
An update to this previous review… After dealing with John Ray & Sons, there had been a few glitches. The prices have increased, but on the good side, this leaves more spots opened for quick visits.
