Fairly small, especially on Wednesdays, especially when you consider how many small producers are in this area. There’s a small pavilion that provides sun and weather coverage and makes this market a lot more comfortable than those in random parking lots. While it can’t compete with the farmer’s markets in Louisville or other larger areas(even remotely) or those locations that turn markets into social occasions or add food trucks, live music, etc., there are some highlights: great eggs and meat /chickens(Wild Mint Farm), some nice canned products(a few different sources), as well as pretty much what you would expect as far as produce(including Hinton’s on Saturdays, usually), though things seem a little slower than usual this year as far as variety goes. Saturdays: if you can’t get there by 9, probably not worth the stop. Which makes me really sad. Probably more of a 2.5 or 3 star rating when compared to other farmers markets, but as compared to similar options available at the grocery locally(if you’re able to get there at the crack of dawn), a definite 4 stars. ETA: there is a recycling drop-off semi located conveniently nearby. Yay for multi-tasking!
