Wow. What is it about fabric stores & customer service. It surprises me. We spend ridiculous amounts of money & we can’t even get decent service. I can see why all of the Hancock stores in california near me have closed. On this visit. They had 1 person working. So 1 person who is suppose to cut fabric & take care of checking out costumers. How is that even possible. Mind you she had to leave to get something out of the stock room & left 7 people in the store to wait in line. Really?

Visit this store and watch the moments of your life tick away… Find fabric you would like to have cut? They don’t care. Want some notions? Doesn’t matter. Find something you’d like to purchase? Neener, neener; they can’t see you. If you have a question, they would love to speak with you until you’d prefer that they went back to ignoring you. And bless ‘em, they don’t distinguish by how tacky the crap you’re gluing together out of 150 yards of multicolored lace is… they still have 20 minutes of overshare and awkward questions to answer before they’ll stop talking at you. But they will, as soon as you want to check out. Then, somehow, you become literally invisible. No shadow cast. At least once, I’ve left(extra) cash at the counter, with the ripped-off price tags from my purchased item.
