Three Sisters Sweet Shop

Our nephew and his wife brought cupcakes from here to our cookout last July… fell in LOVE with them. Fast forward to last week… my husband threw me a surprise 40 th anniversary party, our friends remembered me talking about THE cupcakes. So they decided to make the trip to get some for the party. OOPS! They are closed until May… but the owner emailed or called not sure which, our friends and said they would absolutely make them for the party! 6 dozen of the MOST DELICIOUS ORGASMIC CUPCAKES EVER! If you have ever has Sprinkles cupcakes… they are dog food compared to Three Sisters! And they opened to make them special… can’t say enough wonderful about them! Can’t wait til May… I will be camped at the door! Thanks ladies, made my surprise even better!

On the way to Galena, IL this place is a must stop from a long trip in from Chicago! Super Cute Town, and right across the street from the Elizabeth Garage, plenty of parking! Lots of great ice cream flavors as well as delicious cupcakes. I had to stop and get a root beer float for the ride home back to Chicago… So worth it! It was delicious. The flavor Exhausted Parent was Bourbon infused Espresso Ice Cream, it was delicious! I would go back and get this in a milk shake! Super Cute Décor and just home town feel!

Serving homemade cupcakes and award winning «Chocolate Shoppe» brand ice cream (from Madison, WI), this shop gets it right from the get-​go, in their opening weeks. The ice cream is fresh, delicious and has great flavors with high end ingredients. The prices are low for us Chicagoans, and I almost went back in and told them to raise their prices! I had an ice cream called something like, «This &@!$# just got serious», which was salted caramel with amazing chocolate chunks and nuts. I didn’t look closely at all the specifics, because I was too busy eating it and trying to calculate if I could the calories of seconds. Delightful schoolteacher and family own the shop.
