Just fine. Staying at a hotel, needed delivery. Called these cats and they quickly delivered a fresh, crispy pie. Tasty, adequate, and fresh. No complaints. Kudos for using cornmeal on your crust – makes for crispiness.

Best veggie pizza around. Generous salads. Their shrimp and eggplant parm are delish!

Famous for inducing misery? This place really misses the mark(and I tread lightly with my 1-star reviews!). There is absolutely nothing about this place to be enjoyed. Delivery is abysmal(food is often cold, they’re 30 – 45 minutes late consistently) and the food is extremely plain and lacking of flavor. But that’s not the worst part — the worst part is definitely the customer service aspect… not very pleasant to talk to at all.

Employees are careless and deaf. Drove here for a buffalo pizza from Secaucus and drove back with a plain pizza. Although we told both employees we wanted buffalo they gave us plain charged us for a specialty and said that’s what we ordered. Careless. Don’t waste your time here it’s not worth it.

I’m only giving one star because ZERO is NOT an option! I ordered pizza and wings a few nights ago while in a hotel new Newark. After waiting an hour for the 30 – 45 minute delivery and calling twice, the delivery person finally showed up… ATTHEWRONGHOTEL! 15 minutes later he finally showed up at my hotel with a CRUSHEDPIZZA!!! The customer service people were NO help and did not offer to make it right! CHOOSEANYONEELSEBUTDONOTCHOOSETHESEGUYSFORDELIVERY!!!

While staying in a hotel near Newark Airport for 8 weeks, I had the opportunity to order from Mario’s Famous Pizza a few times. The first thing I can say is, the only thing worse than their pizza, is their customer service. The pizza reminds of the kind they use to serve at the skating rink when I was a kid or that frozen Elio’s pizza in the white box at the grocery store. The crust is too thick and the toppings aren’t tasty or plentiful. I did try their salads, wings and meatballs all of which were better than their pizza. This is the type of place that with a few changes would make for an outstanding eatery. First change, get rid of the girl that answers the phone. Too much attitude not enough useful information to help customers make a decision. Second change, make the pizza better; better quality dough; fresh, natural cheese and better quality toppings.(Fresh Basil not dried) I do appreciate plates and cups coming with the delivery. If you are looking for a good salad, tasty meatballs or really great wings; this is the place. If you want good pizza try any place else!

Good option when you’re stuck at a Newark hotel and your hotel offers nothing and there’s nothing in walking distance. They deliver and the minimum is only $ 8. Give em a try.
