Went there for lunch. The place got busy and for good reason. The workers there are extremely polite and nice. The food was amazing (the pizza was very picture worthy). The guy who took our order even gave us a free sample of their dessert which was amazing and a pleasant surprise. Highly recommended.

I realize that I order on a Friday but it took over an hour and a half to be delivered. Then when I opened the pizza box It was obvious that the pizza had been dropped by someone because all the pizza toppings were in the corner of the pizza box. I called and told them about it and they said they would tell the driver to turn around and give me another pizza in exchange from the one I had been given. Forty five minutes later a second pizza was delivered and it was lukewarm and the crust was soggy! Very disappointed. I was going to order again tomorrow night but not anymore.

«The original» cheese pizza was just what I was looking for to take with me on my way back down south. Good flavor. You can’t find much pizza like this in WNC, especially for this price. Cute building too!

These guys are amazing! We were in NJ awhile ago waiting to take a cruise ship. So we were set up for the night close by the ports, and figured we needed some good old fashioned comfort food.
We made the right choice in choosing Eli’s. Their pizza had great taste. You could tell everything was fresh. The sauce on top tasted fantastic and the crust was nice and crispy. A plus for the pizza. Then we got some spaghetti with meatballs and again, awesome taste. They threw in some free garlic bread and these guys are NY Giants football fans so it was great going over the team with them. I highly recommend if staying near the port to try them out!

This is absolutely dynamite pizza. This is my first time to Elizabeth, and I decided to give Eli’s a try. Clearly, it did not disappoint, as you can see in the picture. I went with the five cheese (white pie) with mushrooms. It was delivered to my hotel warm and in less than 45 minutes. The crust was Chris without being burnt and the pizza had ample toppings. I will eat here every time I’m in Elizabeth.

We 3 Wisconites were so thoroughly impressed with Eli’s. Reviews on Unilocal led us here– so happy we went. Excellent New York style pizza in New Jersey. Garlic knots & anti pasta salad. Homemade everything, and it was great. No franchise same old here. I’m sure it was obvious we were not locals, but we were treated like family. What a nice, friendly place to have a great meal. And another high light– they use Wisconsin cheese.

I was enroute to the airport and had some time so stopped off at this lovely neighborhood gem. The drive there was a bit sketchy with Wawa and Sonic as a staple… but you MUST come to Elis. I’m a native New Yorker and the pizza is legit. Get the grandma slice… actually get more than one. I only got one and now I’m sad.
There is take out or sit down. Family friendly.

You have to try the Grandma Pizza… it’s fantastic. Garlic, fresh Mozzarella and the right amount of tomato sauce make this one heavenly slice. I wat a lot of pizza, so it take a lot to impress me. I’d definitely go to to get more. Yum!

Not bad at all. I went there the moment they opened because my friend was catching a flight and we wanted to eat together.
We split penne vodka and a side plate of meatballs which came with bread and a salad. Though the meatballs weren’t amazing, the sauce was really good. The penne vokda was a solid choice and would definitely get it again. The dudes working there were also really nice. I think everyone in the place checked to see how we were doing.
Though it’s not in the best neighborhood, I would definitely go back.

This was a lucky find! They have a really nice, small business atmosphere, nice for families too. We shared the cheese manicoti, house salad, pepperoni pizza, and garlic knots and I already can’t wait to go again. The food and staff were amazing and on point.

Eli’s Pizza and Pasta is my favorite place to eat in Elizabeth. I love good Italian and they definitely have it. Anything you order from their menu is of great quality. They take pride in what they prepare.

I had to stay in Newark recently for one night on a business trip and I asked the Marriott if any pizza places delivered and they gave me a menu to Eli’s Pizza and Pasta. Since I had a car, I decided to drive there. I have to say, this place has awesome food. The homemade tomato sauce is really good, the staff is friendly, and the value for the money is unreal. I got rigatoni, a bottle of water, garlic bread, and a salad for $ 7.75. You can’t beat the price. And all the food was great, the garlic bread was awesome, the tomato sauce was awesome and they didn’t overcook the pasta.
My only complaint is they have no parking due to their location so just street parking and only like 4 tables inside, so it’s probably better to get it delivered. However, if you are looking for a meal while travelling in the Newark area, Eli’s is the place to go. Affordable, great food, and a lot of food for the money.

First day of Spring 2015 and its snowing! We ordered delivery from Eli’s and was so impressed with the quick delivery and the FOOD! The pepperoni pizza was thin crust and so tasty! The shrimp fettuccine was the best I’ve ever had, amazing Alfredo sauce… and the garlic knots were perfect! We can’t wait to come back to Newark! Thanks Eli’s!

Probably on my home turf, I’d give Eli’s a 3, but here near the Newark airport, hungry and working in my room, I have to say that I’m pretty impressed.
In a fit of hunger-​induced nostalgia, I ordered their «imported pasta» with meatballs. I expected to get overcooked spaghetti with a canned sauce and right out of the freezer meatballs, so imagine my surprise when I opened up the swiftly delivered package to a find a freshly prepared dish! The pasta was just past al dente (OK with me), and the sauce was robust and deep flavored, with a just hint of roma tomato sweetness. The 3 large meatballs were really tasty, and seemingly made at the restaurant. All of this for under $ 10. They even delivered beer for me.
Count me pleasantly surprised here in the Hampton Inn.

This place is awesome. Service is friendly and quick. The garbage pie is their bread and butter. I recently tried the Special wrap which was delicious.
