When I went to pick up my script yesterday, they had me wait about 20 minutes while the doctor wrote it up. When I received my script I noticed it had an expiration date of 2÷25÷2015. When I asked the secretary why did he put that my script had expired she went and asked him. She then came back and told me that I needed a new exam because the last time I was there was in 2014. My issue with this is why didn’t they mention this when I called or why didn’t the doctor mention it before he wrote an expired script? I feel like they wasted my time by having me wait for a script that I would not be able to use anyway! This is not the first time I have had an issue with them not wanting to give me a script. Another thing, is that while on the phone they tried to sell me TWO boxes of contacts for $ 60. If my script had expired in February why would you sell me contacts? It is time to find a new place to go!

The eye doctor himself is okay, but the receptionists are bottom of the barrel in terms of competence. Called in a few days ago to ask if my glasses were ready, and after a long wait on hold the receptionist picks up and lets me know that they’ll call me back(they never do). Fine, I could overlook that. Called in again beforehand to let them know I was going to be stopping by to pick up my glasses, to which they told me were ready, and they had me waiting for well over an hour and a half waiting for seemingly nothing. After the first 45 minutes I got up to ask how much longer it was going to take, and they told me I would be the next one in. Cue another half hour or so and only after getting up to complain again do they let me in. Judging from what they were saying in spanish, they seemingly forgot I was even there, and they have the nerve to not even apologize for it thinking everything’s dandy. I wonder how these people are still in business with bright customer service like that. Oh wait, I know, because people like me don’t look up reviews beforehand.

I been coming to this eye doctor office since I was a kid and it definitely looks that way still. The service is decent your in and out within 45mins. The doctor is pretty quick with his exams… The glasses selection is pretty decent… Side Note… The front desk appearance and the waiting room can use a great upgrading. The smell of mildew and old water doesnt really seem so appealing. Other than that I will definitely come back tho

WORSTCLIENTSERVICEEVER. DON’T BOTHER First time around, I called in to let the office know that I would be coming at a certain time to pick up my contact lens, which the secretary(let’s call her x) told me they would be ready for pick up. When it was time to be picked up, I showed up when the other secretary(y) told me that I had to call the office to let them know in advance, in which I replied that x had taken my phone call and I don’t see why I should have to wait when I had called earlier. Y then asks x if that’s the case, and she denies ever taking my call, in which then y basically accuses me of lying. I ended up having to wait and being late to work because of it. Second time around, I placed an order on my contacts over the phone and the secretary told me she would give me a call to let me know when they’re ready for pickup. I didn’t hear back within the timeframe they gave me(sat-mon by latest), so I called back to check up on the status, in which they told me they were indeed ready for pickup. She then asked me if I was going to go in that day, in which I told her I’d have to come in another day, in which then she told me to give a call 15 min in advance whenever I’m coming in. Fast forward 2 days later(today), when I can FINALLY pick up my contacts, I call the office to only be greeted by a voicemail saying that the office won’t be open til June 3rd. Wow. THAT’S MORETHAN A WEEK. Now because of some ignorant secretary who was extra careful not to tell me that the office would be closed for a week and a half starting Wednesday, I am taking my business somewhere else. I’ve had enough horrible service from these people. Dr Bruder would do himself a great favor by paying for customer service skill classes for his dim witted employees to take at the Union County College.
