I visited this campus this past weekend for a Lawyer’s retreat and fell absolutely in love with this special place. Wonderful hospitality, great food, and excellent program. I cannot wait to visit again. Thank you for everything!

Oh, that’s right, never mix religion and spaghetti. Green Acre is plenty interesting without my getting preachy. Named by a once well-known American poet, a center of learning and understanding before associating itself with one particular belief. This place is exquisite in summer, particularly when the weather is fine. There’s sweet, fresh lobsters down the road like you’ll never find at Sam’s Club. Depending on the schedule, Green Acre is even available for your group, gathering or retreat. Beyond the pale of Unilocal*review guidelines, I think these few lines of Wiki Creative Commons text sets the story up pretty well: «Green Acre is a conference facility in Eliot, Maine, in the United States. It was founded by Sarah Farmer in 1894. The name Green Acre came from poet John Greenleaf Whittier, a personal friend of the Farmer family. Sarah Farmer met with participants in the Parliament of the World’s Religions in Chicago in 1893 and in 1894, and then made Green Acre a platform for the comparative study of religions.»
