World Gym Elgin

As of ⁶⁄₁₇ I received an e-​mail from World Gym cancelling my gym membership at the Elgin facility. If you have been with the gym over a year (and you are not in a current contract) you can send your cancellation request to

. I will continue to monitor my credit card charges to make certain all future gym debts are stopped. Unfortunately there is no cust service to speak to, but hopefully this info will help. I have already joined Fitness 19 in South Elgin (cleaner, nicer, larger). If you mention you were with World Gym the manager will offer you some additional discounts.
I had been with World Gym for two years and was satisfied with the gym until they closed without notice. I also did not like the fact that they transferred the memberships to a facility 19 miles away in Montgomery? I will check my contract to see if that is even in the fineprint. Seems somewhat illegal to me.

Have called again with no response. Am in contact with the Better Business Bureau because I cannot get them to cancel me. They have now charged me for another month. DO NOT USE THIS GYM
