Best food, best service. Have been Eating here for 8 years. My favorite is Fried Avacodo and soup. The same employees all the time. Best Tex Mex in town.

I really liked it so did my fiancé. Next time I will have what he is having! The place is really clean and such a cute place for kids to play. I want to come back and try more food.

The service was very slow and the primary flavor was grease.

There isn’t a lot of places in Elgin but this is one I may not frequent. For starters, the salsa that comes out in the beginning is the worst I have had. That set the tone. I ordered Salmon since they advertise as seafood. It was good but the rest of my plate was blah. Inside it was very warm and uncomfortable. However, the service was outstanding. Some of the best customer service I have had.

I just ordered off shrimp fajitas off the new TexMex menu. The sautéed onion and bell pepper were great. The shrimp had a good flavor but were overlooked and rubbery.(They were glad to replace them with some fried shrimp.). It came with cold refried beans with no choice of charro beans. The salad and tomatoes were fresh. The chips are crunchy and served with a thin green sauce. Every other time I came here the food was great. I’m very unsatisfied with the wait staff every time I come. They are consistently distracted with something else besides service. They are usually sitting at the register and not wanting to get up, or having their own meal at work when they should be waiting on tables. Ask for Ramon if there is any issues he is the owner and glad to keep you happy. I just wish he could fix the wait staff issues.

I enjoyed my meal and was impressed that the portion size was huge. The oysters were cooked to perfection. The fried shrimp were huge and delicious. I loved the steak fries. I didn’t like the rice, it was cold and bland. The condiments were just average. Also, the salsa or sauce for the basket of chips wasn’t my fave. The waitress was great. She checked on us and made sure we had a good experience. In case you care, the ladies room was both clean and smelled good. The specials were priced very reasonably. Oh, we definitely didn’t see any roaches. Hope this helps.

Gross! Roaches. Sadly, finished our chips & hot sauce before one skittered over my foot. Then saw another run across the floor & we were out of there.

So far, this small eatery is worth keeping in business; the grilled talapia, salmon,(light) rice, fresh salad have been good on my 2 visits. The others have enjoyed their fresh salad topped with shrimp &(cerviche), fried catfish, beef tacos. The mild sauce served with the tostada chips is served warm, is good for non-spicy eaters like myself. Has an outside patio in front. Friendly staff. I was able to use their 10% off coupon(for Sundays) from the Elgin Sacred Heart Church bulletin. I gave it 4 stars since I have only been there twice so far. I also had to ask the waitress to refill my tea glass, and for another set of fork/napkin), but is still on my list of places to eat at.

Some friends and I came here for lunch. We had queso, a chicken tostado, and a catfish Po-Boy. The food was good and so was the service.

The fish sandwich was yummy. Good cheese dip. Warm, yummy salsa. Oh and the chips with chicken and cheese, my friend Heathers favorite, we’re tasty. I thought the mix of plastic, china, and paper plates, cups and bowls… was strange. Overall, good place for lunch.

Best seafood in and around Elgin, TX. At 1st it was just curiosity that lured me into this place. Then the food kept me going back. I’ve had 4 or 5 items on the menu and all were delicious. The shrimp po-boy is the best I’ve had since I was a kid in Louisiana. The only thing that makes it even better is when I ask for extra shrimp. I think they make their own tarter sauce and it is wonderful.

The staff was nice and the restaurant was clean. The food however was not good, the food was served cold, the fried oysters were not fried but corn bread battered with little to no oyster in the batter and were rubbery. The salmon was over cooked and taste like tuna. The salsa was warm but taste like warm tomato sauce not salsa. The food was not restaurant quality and would not rate even in a home kitchen in my opinion.
