Stopped in around 5pm on a Friday. My headlight was out. FAST service! Was in and out in about 30 Min.
Friendly counter help, courteous and knowledgeable! Highly recommend!

So my mom has an older Jag and needed lots of «little» things fixed — windhseild fluid spray was not working, rubbing interior piece at tire, tune-​up, etc… and Jay’s took the time to get it all squared away again — thank you!
We had recently moved to the Elgin area and had no idea who to trust so we are very pleased to have found this honest company!

Very informative, knowledgeable, and helpful. I recently moved to Elgin and Jay’s Automotive came highly recommended. They have done a great job on my auto and my wife’s car when we needed repairs.

Very straightforward and honest service. Prices are always fair and they even give you the option to purchase your own parts in some cases (although in most cases I’ve just used their parts since it’s what they recommend).
Service is always fast and friendly. They’ve even given me a ride back to Manor so that I wouldn’t have to wait for my vehicle! That goes above and beyond what any other shop has offered to do.

Stopped in for a quick inspection. While I’m not a stickler for great service from a tire shop, I was surprised at how rude Jim was… I won’t go out of my way to stop in here again.

This place is about as honest as they come… And that is saying something about a mechanic. Recently had some ac work done on my truck, and after a horrible experience with Bastrop tire and automotive, Jays was a breath of fresh air. Dropped of my truck about 7:30 planning on waiting till It was done and they actually offered to give me a ride home to wait saying it could be a cople hours… not far, about 15 miles… but wow. Called me about two hours later and told me what was wrong and what my options were. Turned out to be more than I was ready to spend so I went to pick up my truck. When I got there they actually walked me through everything that was wrong… and told me how to fix it all myself, for about ¹⁄₃ of the cost… took me about 3 hours. Again, WOW. brought it back the next day to have the ac re-​charged and now have an ac blowing ice cubes!!! Very highly recommended!
