Fox Valley Ear Nose & Throat Associates Sc

This was my first trip to Fox Valley ENT. Dr. Hemmer took a look at my ears. I couldn’t hear after going swimming in the ocean. He took a look, and told me I had wax build up. He informed me every step of the way what he was going to do. He warned me it was going to be loud with the vacuum. He offered me tips on what I can do to avoid situations like this. Overall, it was a very plesant and comforting experience.
One thing I wasn’t happy with was the wait time. My appointment was at 5:00PM. I showed up at 4:45PM to do my paperwork. I waited in the waiting room until 5:30PM until my name was called. Then I sat and waited in the doctor’s office for another 10 minutes. The actual procedure only took about 3 minutes, but I was at the facility for over an hour. Not a huge deal, I suppose.

Let me just tell you that we will never, ever set foot in this office again! Rude, absolutely heartless people. How dare they call the cops on a 68 year old man who barely speaks English. My dad was REFUSED even to be seen because of some stupid mistake this office did more than 5 years ago!!! They stated my dad owed $ 25 copay for an office visit done then. He went in there this morning asking to please see Dr. Hemmer cause he had ear pain and could barely hear out of it. They told him no because he needed to pay the $ 25. He said ok let me pay. The receptionist asked the doctor and he said no he needs to call and pay. So my dad insisted… Can I please see the doctor I will pay the $ 25 dollars. The doctor said, through the receptionist, that he would see him if he paid $ 200! Are you kidding me!!! My dad just wants to get out of pain so he asked again. They had the audacity to call the cops! What can a 68 year old man who can barely speak English do!!! Maybe we should consider further action. This office will need to be reprimanded somehow! Beware. They don’t even deserve a star rating.
