Elgin Coin Laundry

There us no free dry here. I had a bunch of blankets to wash so I can specifically for that & was very disappointed. I spent $ 8 on one of a jumbo machines & then to my surprise I had dish out for the driers & then to top it off, each drier gives you different times for a quarter. Can you say RIP OFF

I have to use laundromats all the time and travel to different locations. This is one of the nicest, cleanest coin laundry you will find. Giant washers and dryers.

This is a pretty decent laundromat!
I had to find a local laundromat to wash my extra large king comforter and I found this place.
It’s very clean and there are tons of machines. I don’t recall how many quarters the largest machine took, but I think it was 15 quarters or so. A full cycle is 25 mins.
It’s only $ 0.25 for every 15 minutes in the dryer, which I thought was great. My comforter took around 45 mins and I let it hang overnight at home as it’s pretty thick and didn’t dry completely. I was so happy with how clean my comforter came out!

First time there, just need to dry the towels because my dryer broke, i tried to pay for the dryers, but there is no option, so I emailed the manager because no one was there, got a replied in 30 min saying that is OK, for being first time there. I was happy cause I don’t want the police knock on my door later for non paying. 30 min later, a cleaning lady showed up, I offered to pay her. and she accepted. :) Be back again if my machine break down, but will use the washers.
